On 5/2 1 purchased a ****** from Dipson and Sons Auto for $2000 plus $1300 in other fees. The first week I drove it it rode fine, but we found that it was leaking fluids. I took it to a mechanic on 5/16, who said the car had major issues, including some leaks, irregular engine noise and some gasket issues. I called ***************************, the owner of Dipson and Sons. He said he had no responsibility other than what was in our purchase agreement which had a 30-day warranty for transmission/engine issues only. It was only when I contacted him again and explained some of the mechanic's concerns that he agreed to take the car in for servicing. I mentioned then that I wanted out of the deal, but he pointed to the warranty. I delivered the car to him on 5/16. At some point over the next week he got back to me and said that it was an oil gasket issue, which would require about $600 to repair.He suggested to me we split that cost. With few options at this point, I agreed. I picked up the car on 5/23. It drove without incident until 6/13 when the engine seized on the highway. We had the car towed to a mechanic. He finally looked at it on 6/20 and said the car had internal motor failure.Customer response

I do not accept the response by the business. He is not telling the truth when he says I did not try to call or text him at different points in this process. I have text and phone records to prove this. He is also downplaying the different concerns I expressed throughout this process, including there were multiple concerns with the car that me and a couple of mechanics tried to inquire about and inform him of.
