This is a big **nglermate with a "call center" that books all appointments, as I have **me to find out. I wanted a **nsultation for a Blepheroplasty. I waited three months for it. When I met with the the nurse and the, I am assuming, optometrist, I spoke of my issue, and not once did they tell me that they don't deal with that issue. So I went through all this testing under the impression that I was doing an exam specifically for the blepheroplasty, and at the end, I got a referral to return to see yet another doctor for the **nsultation I had originally wanted. When I checked out at the end, I told the person behind the desk that I had not scheduled an annual eye exam - I already have an optometrist for that, and that whoever scheduled my appointment was terribly misleading and simply wrong. I was told that it was the fault of the "call center", and she threw up her hands.Today I received a $90 bill from insurance for a standard eye exam, which I never normally have to pay. You can imagine the hoops I am jumping through to make the point that this was not an appointment that I even scheduled.I suggest booking your appointments directly with an office with a person who actually works there and understands who does what procedure (you have to ask for that because they make it seem as if they are in the practice itself), rather than a "call center" where there is no relationship between them and the specifics of the practice. From my insurance **mpany, I found that the $90 was $40 for the ** pay which I was told Id get a bill for directly from the practice, and $50 for a refraction, which I had refused. I have called the billing department several times and have yet to receive a call back.Stay away from this **mpany. They are unprofessional and not trustworthy.

I was a customer of ******************************* of ********************************************* Eye ****************** for 2 years - always paid my bills on time. In April 6, 2021 I had an eye exam with them and they never sent me a bill for the $40 co-pay. The front desk told me they would send me a bill. I never received any kind of notification that the $40 co-pay was due. On October, 23, 2023, I rec'd a letter from a collection agency (**********************************) for the $40. I paid it immediately. I called North Suburban Eye Associates to ask them why they sent a debt collector after me especially where I was a good standing and paying patient and never even received a bill or communicaiton for the $40. I called them several times got forwarded to their Accounts ***************** left several messages with my call back number, and they never returned my call. I will never go back to them again. I have an excellent credit record and I hope this does not affect it. To me this Associationg is very negligent in their response to long standing customers.
