Hired ********************* from BFC Painting (saw him advertise on ********* to stain my deck (pressure treated wood with nothing on it) with clear stain for ******, gave him ****** upfront, (he says he only does cash-should of known RED FLAG) he showed up on Oct 18th - He used cheap water sealant that I didnt approve, he was there with another guy for 2 and half hours and said he was done, give me my 500. remaining balance. In good faith I paid in full.. I complained it looked terrible and filmed up. He showed up saying oops, hosed it down with water didn't do anything. He wont take my calls only message through ********* I want my ****** . its going to cost me ******* to fix it in spring. Now it has to be pressure cleaned, sanded and restrained because of ********************* . I don't want him to touch my deck and want my money back. Please HELP! I felt I was taken advantage of. Thank you for your time . Once I get my ****** back I would like NOT to contacted by him.Customer response

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.
Nov23, 2021: I got a message through ******** from ***** Conit he says "You put a compliant in with BBB, what a joke. you are. I said I would fix it, now you get nothig"
I want him to touch my deck he has made a simple job now expensive to correct int he spring
Where shosuld I go from here? Small business complaint? I paid hi m since he doenst take any other forms of payment. He has his aunt cash the checks.
this is a sketchy buisneess and should be put out of it.
