Raytheon's Payroll and HR department failed to correctly end my employment when I left. It resulted in overpayment. Once I received a paycheck that was after my last expected paycheck I contacted them the next business day, Tuesday. Monday was ******************************** Day. I attempted to contact HR several times that week, and t took Raytheon HR and Payroll more than a week to respond to my request. They claimed to carefully review my overpayment, yet calculated it incorrectly. I let them know within a few hours of receiving their calculation. They calculated it a second time incorrectly, not accounting for PTO. When I pointed this out the Overpayment Team Member ******, said 'You're Wrong'. (Yes there is team for this. So, mistakes must be fairly common.) I was not wrong. They took over two weeks, often days between responding to my daily requests to come to an acceptable resolution where I was paid for my PTO. I sent them a check the next day. They cashed it business days after I sent it. It's now been over 3 weeks since they cashed it, and over 30 days since we settled on a number and over 7 weeks since I pointed out their initial mistake. All of this to give them money back. They still have not corrected my 2022 pay in the payroll system, and I don't have a corrected W2. They say it will be two more weeks. This is against IRS requirements. It is punishing me for their mistake. I have no real recourse and can not correctly file my tax return. It is costing me time and money. I have sent daily messages for status daily week, and have generally been ignored. Raytheon payroll, overpayment team and HR, have shown a lack of respect, and incompetence. It is unfortunate to be treated this way. I worked for Raytheon for over 23 Years and enjoyed my time working there and with my team. This is how I am treated now. It makes me sad and frustrated.
