Refusal to help with issues regarding my home.Everytime something was reported about my home about water the damage to my foundation they refused to let me file a claim.Damage was caused by the Town. Town did not maintain drains on street. Creating drains filled with sand and damage to my home. Called town constantly to clear drains. Threatened litigation only then did the town replaced drains.back dated letter from insurance Co. Cancelled ins. Due to things that have not changed since ownership in 2008. Home is now damaged structurally. My husband is disabled and was out of work. My family had covid during time of cancelation. My mother died this year and is also on the policy with us.. I feel that years ago when we reported these water issues they should have been covered. Now they have canceled us. Leaving us with a home that is rapidly deteriorating, no insurance and not even a recommendation on how to get help. I will lose my home to the damage and have no options. I feel I was wronged and my home could have been fixed when first reported . Now I'm in a mess, and I'm without guidance on what to do. I need help and tried to do things right. I feel I was canceled not because of the issues listed in the backdated letter but because they knew the damage from the town was severe from frequent phone calls for help.Business response

Our records do not show we have ever received this complaint. We *** have missed it and apologize. We did review our records and found no evidence our agency was
Contacted regarding the water incident the complaint is referring to. Had we received this claim, it is office policy to immediately forward to the carrier as claim/damage decisions are not made at the agency level.
In reviewing the insurance company website..no claims were reported by our agency or the insured. The insured recently received inspection recommendations directly from the carrier that *** have prompted this complaint letter.
