The registration checklist says money is non refundable unless injury, or the kids dont have a season and my sons team did not have a spring season, which is what we signed him up for. They didnt tell us for months and I kept pressing the issue as I felt as though the season should have already started and it had not yet. The woman I was texting with (******) would stop answering whenever the subject came up and I could never get a straight answer. I found out that the season had started already and my son did not have a team because they never got uniforms or told us when they would start. They just continued practicing twice a week. Ultimately they Mentioned to my son that if they did not have a spring season we wouldnt have to pay for the fall season, but I have no desire to continue with them into the fall, as the whole thing seemed pretty shady from the beginning, unplanned and they were not very straight forward when we asked about having a team. So my son went the whole season not playing anything because by the time we finally realized there was no team it was to late to sign him up to play anything. I want the $200 we paid for the spring season that my son did not have. I have sent a message by email and via ******** messaged with no response what so ever to my request. I have uploaded the forms they sent me, I printed filled out and handed in the hard copy of this form. I would appreciate any help you could give.Business response

*********************** registered her son for spring football. Practices started the first week of March 2022. For the first two weeks, when practices were indoors, there were two practices per week. Once we were able to move practices outdoors, there were three practices per week, unless we had to cancel practice due to bad weather. Parents were notified if practice was cancelled.
Games started in the middle of April. We were very upfront with the parents that we did not have enough players to meet the minimum team numbers in order to be included in the games. We gave the parents the option of continuing to have practices in order to give their children more experience and more skills. No parents removed their children at that time. Everyone who was registered continued to come to practices. If a parent did not want their child to continue with practice, this would have been the time to request a refund.
We maintained insurance on all the children for the duration of the practices. We even extended the practice season for an additional nine weeks for those that wanted to join us. There was no additional charge for those that had registered for spring football. *************************** son joined us for a few sessions during the additional nine weeks.
We loaned the children helmets and shoulder pads. *********************** did not respond to our request to return the equipment. We still need it returned to us.
