Date of trans - 04/21/22. Amount paid - $0.00 ($700 was billed; 1 invoice for $550 and 1 invoice for $150). Removal of leaves from our yard which included along our fence out back. Invoices #: XXXXXXXXX and ********* (attached). All emails attached. Summary: I had a gentleman come over and give me an estimate and we discussed landscaping we needed done. He gave me two separate estimates - one for a large branch pile ($950) and one for a clean-up ($650) in which I described the areas needed, that included along the fence - which was the primary reason for the inquiry. We opted to go with only the 'Clean Up' portion as confirmed in an email. I then revised the services I needed done, as to not include the wooded area at the rear of my property. This revision included pictures from different angles showing exactly what needed to be done. It was confirmed and agreed upon via email, that an adjustment of $100 would take place, for a new total of $550. I physically went out and spray-painted an orange line through the leaves that matched our discussion of the work to be completed. The leaves along the fence (again, the main reason for my call to Rosado) were not removed as agreed upon in the original price of $550.00. After I sent an email to them, they did come back to remove some of the leaves from the area in question, however proceeded to charge me an additional $150 for that service. The additional work they did was also not completed to where we had discussed. Rosado is claiming that the leaves along the fence were never included in the original work I asked to be done for the $550.00. At this point, here is where we stand: * The work was not completed to what was agreed upon for $550.00. * I do not believe I owe an additional $150. * I will (reluctantly) pay for the services completed up to the $550.00 to get this behind us - even though I do not believe they satisfactorily completed the job. * I do not want them to return and finish the job.

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/04/27) */ Contact Name and Title: Gregory P***** Contact Phone: XXX XXX XXXX Contact Email: ****@rosadoandsons.com There was some confusion between the owner, who originally met with the customer to discuss the scope, and the customer who signed on for the work. As the customer mentioned, a scope was agreed upon at one price, which the customer then changed before we came out. We agreed to discount the price based on the reduction in work, and then performed to that scope. The customer then called to say the work wasn't completed as agreed, as there was an area on the side of the home that we didn't clear. This work was not part of any scope previously discussed, and customer had now given us 3 different scopes of work. The owner agreed to send the crew out a second time to have this done, and charged a minimal amount to cover the crew's time for the return visit. This additional charge apparently upset the customer, who then told us that none of the original work was completed to his satisfaction either. In this customer's correspondence with our office, he made no mention of the original work not being done satisfactorily, only that he wanted us to come back and complete the extra scope on the side. In good faith to the customer, we have eliminated the $150.00 charge for the return visit, but feel the $550.00 for spring cleanup should be paid as the work was completed as agreed in addition to mobilizing the crew a 2nd time in attempt to rectify this confusion. Consumer Response /* (2000, 8, 2022/04/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Rosado has removed the charge that was in dispute. They also sent me an apology email. I have since paid the other invoice for the work that was completed.
