Spartan did forms, floor and walkways for my garage project. Great guys to work with who had no problem with changes and modifications to original plans. Excellent results, footings forms, excavation and floors. Shoddy work from inexperienced workers. The owner will sell you the moon and stars and be quick to collect his money but will ghost you when he screws up. Screwed up my pool deck, major cracks all over after 2 months, horrible uneven saw cuts, crooked brush strokes, inconsistent texture, dry chunks in the mix, uneven forming, ruined my coping, ripped my pool liner and my liner has permanent rust stains from metal they lost in the pool. Left bushes tied up, trash in the yard. I even tried to be nice and offered to pay half. Had to call them back 2 times after they said they were done just to clean up the concrete that was spilling over the coping. First time they chipped it away with putty knives. Second time they used a grinder to try and smooth it out. His attorney drew up a settlement agreement and after months of back and forth including his attorney lying for him on two occasions saying "the check was in the office somewhere"... he still hasn't paid after 5 months. Thank god I withheld at least the final payment. Emailed the owner direct 2 months ago and he clamed to have already sent the check before I emailed him. Started September 2021, finished Dec 2021. Don't expect quality work from these guys. My guess is they prefer doing stampcrete to try and hid their lack of ability in the uneven "stone look". I will be taking them to court since he has failed to uphold his end of the agreement that his attorney drew up. His agreement included a non disclosure clause but since he hasnt held up his end of his own agreement, it cant be enforced. I advised him and his attorney of that fact on August 9th (2 months ago) and still nothing. I have been more than reasonable in giving him time to make good on his settlement.
