I hired Lori Designs for a small interior decorating project on 7/5/22. I paid a deposit of $1,152. One of ***** employees met with me at my home and discussed our needs, and we met a second and final time a few weeks later. Since that time, all attempts to contact Lori Designs have failed. I have called, emailed, texted, and visited her office in *******, ** in an effort to resolve this.Business response

***************** asked our help in interior design time with her property. I recollect it being about 800 square feet, so not a large project. We agreed on an estimate of 12 hours design time and shopping time totaling $1,920, invoiced at intervals and a retainer of $1,152 which represents approximately seven hours of professional time. ********, one of our contract designers, met with, reviewed space and needs, and managed this project through its entirety. ******** spoke with ***************** several times and met with her. During this time ******** created floor plans and spent a significant amount of time shopping for specific themes and products for ***************** I personally consulted with ******** three times for added direction and resources. Together we have spent over nine hours on this project.
I am unclear on the time frame of when ***************** was attempting to converse, but I believe it was over a couple week period. I do not believe I ever received an email or phone call from ***************** directly, but I telephoned her in response to a second request from ***************** The conversation was brief in that she stated she received no services and wanted her money back wherafter she disconnected the call with no conversations.
I am at a loss on how to proceed with any resolution, but am open to conversations and suggestions.

I am rejecting this response because: As I stated in my complaint, I hired Lori Designs for a small interior decorating project on 7/5/22. I paid a deposit of $1,152. One of ***** employees met with me at my home and discussed our needs, and we met a second and final time a few weeks later. Since that time, ALL attempts to contact Lori Designs have failed. I have called, emailed, texted, and visited her office in *******, ** in an effort to resolve this. ************ took my money and did not do the job. ************ NEVER responded to my contact attempts until I messaged her on her ******** page, as you can see in the attachments. No efforts by her or ******** to finish the job or refund my money. ************ has had several complaints filed against her in court due to similar actions with other clients. ******** could not have spent hours on the floor plan, as the floor plan is the same as the one we have now. ************ has made NO efforts to rectify the situation.
