When I choose to skip a shipment, they do not honor it. So they charge you and still send out the shipment, but also do not reply for many weeks when you send their customer service emails explaining the problem. This has happened more than once where I skipped a month, but they ignored it or their system is broken to not see it. Then adding insult to injury they do not reply to you for several weeks. I have emailed them 3 times a week for the last 2-3 weeks with no reply. I've asked them every time in the last 10 days why they are not replying - no answer. Today I sent one last email asking to cancel my account and this time they did reply. Very passive aggressive. I asked why they reply to this but not when I needed their help as a customer: no answer. I am happy to stop doing business with them if they cannot reply when their system is broken but still charges me for product I didn't order. This is very unfair and not what we agreed to.

The company, named Revela, merged with ************ ******************************************************************************** earlier this year. On 3/19/23, I ordered their Hair Revival Regimen (hair regrowth) product for $223 plus tax via PayPal. They advertised their product on TV as unlike all other hair regrowth products and boasted a money back guarantee. Just take before photos, use the product for 120 days, and, if no results, take after photos, and contact them for refund of purchase price. I purchased only because of the guarantee. The serum did not work at all. I contacted them for refund label and receive email reply that Revela has "merged with Oddity" (another company) to work on better hair formulas. For that reason, they cannot refund my money. I sent another email rejecting that excuse and asking again for a refund. I can send you those email exchanges. I fear that I will not receive my refund. I hope you can help

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  I do not expect to hear from them as our last communication was a couple months ago and, as far as they were concerned, case closed.  Their email all but said that.

I am requesting a refund from Revela for all products purchased. Revela was bought in May by ************ Customers received no warning of business operations winding down. Two additional bottles were sent to me via a subscription that I had requested be canceled through the chat with the company. When the bottles were received, I emailed Revela and asked to return them. I was told that I could and an address was provided. I sent in the UNOPENED box and bottles that were sent to me by mistake. I also asked what I could do as their product produced no results. I was told I could submit before and after pics that would be evaluated. I did that as well. After several weeks of not hearing from the company, I emailed them. I was told that refunds for were not being processed for any returns or guarantees. As you can see by the email thread, almost also responses are a generic resonse: "Thanks for reaching out. As you know, Revela has now merged with ODDITY. As we transition our products and formulas, we have wound down our operations and as of 05/31/2023 we are unable to process returns. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us with any other questions, we're here to help the best that we can!"I have tried calling, emailing, and chatting on several occasions, and this is the only response I receive. I have asked for at least the returned product to be refunded, as I was told I could send it back by customer service. So now they have my money and the product. In summary, Revela gave no notice to customers that refunds and guarantees could not be processed. They refuse to provide a customer service # to discuss the matter. I was told by Revela I could return product and submit pictures for a refund, and now I have been refused both.Included is a screenshot of the money I have spent with Revela. This is the refund amount I am requesting.

I have heard back from the business, but they only partially matched my refund. They refunded the product that I sent back, but not the guarantee that was promised for results.

I purchased this hair growth serum on March 23, 2023 after seeing an ad on tv. They had a money back guarantee so that gave me more security to try it. After I used the product for four months and there were absolutely no results, I emailed customer service to ask for a refund. The customer service emailed back that since they were merging with Oddity that they were unable to honor the guarantee. I feel that since I bought the product before the merger, that the warranty should be honored.

Hello, I returned the last shipment they sent me, unopened, after trying to cancel that shipment. The package was refused and the post office returned the item to Revela. That was on June 20, 2023. I have emailed them asking when I might receive a refund. I got a response that they are catering to existing accounts first. I have waited over a month and have received no further response to additional requests. I realize they are merging, but I would think I could at least get an answer to when the refund would be processed. Thank you.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I asked for a refund or to at least know WHEN I would be issued a refund. They contacted me to say THEY will not be issuing ANY refunds for returned products after May 31, 2023. I realize they are in transition of the business, merging to another one. But I have not received a date as to when the NEW company may be issuing a refund or IF i will be receivng a refund at all. I returned the product. I dont understand why all I get is the repsonse "we are not issuing any refunds after May 31st." And I don't know why that would be when they got the product back. Thank you.

Revela sells hair loss treatment products and offers a 4 month money back guarantee based upon the efficacy of their product. Their product is quite expensive and I communicated with their customer support several times via email with regards to their product, their refund policy and my concerns about their cinditions which were in clear violation of HIPAA, since they were asking for photographic proof as a condition for refund. When I had no results from their product after 4 months of use, I requested a refund and complied with all of their refund policy requests. Again I pointed out the questionable policy of asking for patient photographs for dermatological conditions and how this was a clear violation of HIPAA and they insisted that they needed photos for the refund. So when I finally sent them photos along with all of their requested documentation, they denied my refund stating that my hair was cut too short for them to determine if I qualified. This is absolutely ridiculous. I am not sure who determines the efficacy of their products via photographs and what their medical qualifications are, but they are clearly in violation of HIPAA and moreover they have walked back on their refund policy. I also noticed that the company has removed their product now from all online vendors and removed it from their own website, so I have reason to believe that there are other claims for the inefficacy of this product or that the company has tried to defraud customers by provision of a fake guarantee and refund policy.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. The business is in violation of federal HIPAA regulations and has mysteriously stopped all sales of their products on Amazon and also their own website. They have also completely changed the content of their website.

I began using this product in December, 2022. They offered a money back guarantee. An ironclad guarantee, according to them. I took the photos as they asked and made two additional purchases because it supposedly took 3-4 months to see results. I faithfully used this product for the required time. It never worked. They will not refund my money and just keep stalling. I have complied with every request and still no refund. Todays excuse is my photos are not files. They are standard iPhone pictures. Here is only one area on the back of my head so multiple angle pictures were never needed. It can only be seen and photographed from the one angle. Everyday is a new person and a new excuse.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. Despite several more attempts to contact this company, and their new parent company, nothing has been resolved. The new owner of the company- Spoiled Child Hair and Skin tells me to contact the original company and when I do, some idiot named **** does not know the difference between a screen shot and an iPhone picture. Their iron -clad guarantee is worth no more than their product and I wish **** all the bad luck one person can incur,

I purchased Revela The Fibroquin Essence skin cream with the understanding that the product, if not effective, could be returned in 120 days. After receiving an email from the *** of Revela, Inc., *****************, announcing the sale of Revela to ************ I emailed Revela to confirm that they would stand by their i120 day guarantee. I was particularly concerned because, so far, this skin cream has been ineffective and has not performed as advertised. I was informed by Revela that the 1l20 day guarantee does not apply to this particular product that I purchased, the RevelaThe Fibroquin Essence skin cream. I have not received any response from *********** after reaching out to them.Date of Transaction: 3/14/2023 Purchase Price:$125.81

I purchased a product from Revela because it is advertised to help hair growth. After using the product I noticed my hair was breaking off and falling out at an alarming rate. I contacted the company and explained my adverse reaction and asked for a refund. I was denied repeatedly. I disputed the charge with my bank account. Only then did Revela give me a partial refund. I want a full refund considering the extent of the damage to my hair. My credit card company proceeded with the dispute for the full amount but was ultimately denied. Im still very upset about it.
