      I ordered $7500 worth of appliances from Boston Appliance in ********** in April 2023. After I paid for the appliances, they would not return my calls to set up a delivery date. They have not refunded my money and the store appears to be closed. I would like my entire amount refunded.

      Ive been doing business with Boston Appliance out of ****** for over 20 years. I buy all my appliances that I build outdoor kitchens with from them. In mid may I placed a large order for $52K plus with them. Per their policy (and always has been) they require payment in full to order appliances. My stuff was supposed to arrive a few weeks ago and Ive been calling and emailing in this time and no response. I drove to their location today it was shut down with signs in the window.

      On October 1, 2022 we purchased a Wolf Dual Fuel 48 inch stove with 6 burners and a griddle from Boston Appliance. We paid in full ($17000) because it was a "custom order"We were given July as an estimated date for delivery. We went back and forth over the last few months getting updates on our order status but it was very difficult to get someone to respond. We were told they would receive the stove July 7. On July 7, we had email contact with our sales **** **** *****. She asked when we would like the stove delivered. She never responded to our July 7th email, no one is picking up the phone, and when you go to the business, the doors are locked.

      We ordered $30,000 worth of appliances through Boston Appliance and paid in full. Product was never delivered and no one will return my phone calls.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.  No one will return any calls or emails. They took our money and never planned on delivering appliances. We spent $31k and we have NO appliances. Complete Fraud

      Appliance order in the amount of ****** + was placed and paid in full in early 2023. We were told it would be no problem having the items delivered on June 19th. A few weeks before delivery, we found out an oven couldn't be delivered, so we removed that from order. A credit car card refund was goiing to be processed for that portion of the order. After that uneasiness and several unanswered emails about the rest of the order, we decided to cancel the whole order. We were told by several people at Boston appliance that a check would be issued. Now, they are telling me a check was sent to the wrong address, and not returning my calls. I have asked several times to speak to someone in management, and that has never happened. please just refund my money. I would prefer a credit card refund, but can pick up a check at their location.

      I paid a 1/2 deposit for a range and backsplash in Nov. 2022. When I was notified they were in I was told to pay the remaining half. Over $16,000. Tried to schedule delivery and no one would respond/ answer. Went to ********** branch and they told me they sent the range back. They rescheduled a delivery for the following week guaranteeing the delivery. Products were not delivered. Went to the store to cancel the order and get a refund as this is 7 months later and the sales person wrote up an order for complete refund to be given within 10 business days by cheque. That was June 21st 2023. It is presently July 10th , three weeks later and no cheque in the mail. This is *****!! We are trying to get over $16,000.00 back from this company!!!

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. My husband went to Boston Appliance to speak with them today as they do not answer their phone and the doors were locked. Saw on the Boston news tonight that they have taken money from numerous customers and did not deliver any of the ordered appliance. This is fraud and the staff also committed fraud as they continued to take money and orders knowing that the product wouldnt be delivered. They have over $16,000. Of my money since April!

      Boston appliance (******) sold me a refrigerator for $11,000. We paid in full and they now are explaining that they are not able to deliver the appliance. Ever. And they do not have the funds to reimburse us.

      I ordered appliances (>$20k) in late January 2022. I am still awaiting delivery of my range ($11k) and accessories as well as a chest freezer and beverage fridge. On numerous occasions I have been given false information as to the order status, whereabouts, and timing of my appliances, specifically the range. It has now come to my attention that my range was never even ordered in January of 2022 even though I paid in full at the time. It has come to light that the owner of the business has been embezzling money and my range was never ordered 18 months ago and has still yet to be ordered. Instead I have been strung along waiting for an appliance that was never ordered. It is in stock supposedly at a distributor warehouse, but the business is in such trouble they do not have the cash to purchase/order my oven. It was suggested that I wait for a 'couple loans' to come through so they can buy it an deliver it. To say I am not confident that this will happen is putting it lightly. I am not really sure what to do at this point because asking for a refund wouldn't help since they don't have the money to refund me. Honestly this is absurd and the business has been keeping this behavior a secret. It is unfathomable.

      Tried to buy a replacement dishwasher from *************** at Boston Appliance on August 16. I told him we were replacing an Asko unit. He recommended a Bosch which I agreed to purchase. He then called me to tell me that the Bosch would not fit in a Cabinet made for an Asko - so I cancelled the order. *** put thought the charges to my credit card anyway- he has also failed to respond to my multiple requests for confirmation of cancelation.

      I'll have to take a peek and see what's going on.  It looks like *** put in a refund request that is still in a pending status.
