Terrible company. They are in the business of attempting to steal money through manipulative emails and fraud. Essentially, they took a deposit of $350 that was non-refundable. This I am completely okay with, however they also took an additional $300 after they were notified that the move was canceled >48 hours ahead of time. Unfortunately, their current technology and systems do not comply with what is outlined in the terms of the agreement. I will be filing a lawsuit immediately. STAY AWAY!

It is disheartening to read this review you have posted. Upon booking the cancellation policy was placed in multiple spots on the contract that you signed before booking our services. Our Eviction Services have a strict cancellation policy and we have to follow them for every customer and landlord. We didn't receive a call from your attorney until less than 48 hours prior to the move out date and unfortunately that results in our minimum charge. We do not consider that stealing, we consider that following our contract.Review from Jessica G

Scheduled and have a $200 deposit to Town to Town Movers to help us load our moving truck for an out of state move. We were given an estimated time of arrival of 10am to 2pm. The day prior they called to confirm. At 130 my husband called to make sure we were still on the schedule and the woman he spoke with at the office confirmed they were still coming just running behind. After 2 pm we got a call from the owner who was calling to cancel. He said they were running behind and unfortunately they would not be able to get to us. His best reasoning was that sometimes this happens I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. With something already as stressful as moving I would not but my faith in a company that will cancel on you at the very last minute! Wish I could give zero stars, because thats the level of service and satisfaction we received from Town to Town Movers. ZERO!Town to Town Movers, Inc. Response

We do apologize that this did happen, we try our very best to avoid this situation at all costs. It does not happen often with Town to Town Movers that we are not able to make it to a second job. Unfortunately it hurts everyone involved when a customer is not honest with what they need moved and we get put into a rough position to have to cancel the second job for the day. It a very rare occasion we cannot make it work. We understand offering an alternate date would not work for you and we sincerely apologize.
