      Deceptive marketing. Online trial subscription cancelled on website at required time, yet I was billed 2 months of service. Customer service wouldn't correct or help. Do not fo business with thus company.

      The Worcester T and G makes you jump through hoops to cancel subscriptions. The feature to cancel online is unavailable and when I called to cancel on 7/19/23 they didnt process the cancellation. I needed to call two separate times (10/3/23 and 10/4/23) and needed to demand my cancellation and refund. After a 30 minute phone call they finally agreed. Overall, the Worcester T and G is a dishonest and terrible business.

      It is FRAUD to sell a product that is never delivered. My PAID subscription was supposed to start on March 6, 2023 and 4 days later and daily phone calls with 'assurance' the paper would be delivered the following day, NOTHING! Filing a complaint now with the ************* State Attorney General for fraud. How many other people have been charged for something never received?

      They are the ABSOLUTE WORST!!! They do not care about their CUSTOMERS!! Their CUSTOMER SERVICE **** IS USELESS!!!!! I paid for a monthly service because their prices are OUTRAGEOUS!! I had not received a paper in months!! Asked for my money back and got NOTHING!! I have been a long time customer and now in the elderly bracket!!! I am done with them!!!

      My family and I have subscribed to this publication for over 50 years. We receive home delivery. I regard that subscription as an implied contract to deliver the paper to my home address on a daily basis. At least several days per month, I do not receive the paper. When this happens, the missing issue is usually delivered the following day along with the current issue. Needless to say, this is unethical. A news publication delivered a day late is worth less than the listed price. Unless I call the paper each time this happens, I will be charged full price. The paper either has no system to track carrier performance, or they connive with the way the carrier attempts to cover up a missed delivery. Several carriers have resorted to the selfsame prank over the past few years, so the paper cannot blame a single carrier, and the fact that the paper has been alerted to this deception indicates to me that they sanction it. The only reason why I continue to subscribe is that other people depend on the paper. I get much better, more complete, and far more balanced news online. Sometime soon I plan to cancel my subscription, unless I see a radical and fundamental improvement in journalism and customer service. After reading these other reviews and the paper's response, I note the same pattern of abusive customer service and disingenuous PR claptrap response. Can't your staff see through the empty, insincere verbiage?

      I Have not received a paper since DEc 25 when my paper boy ***** ******* quit. I was paid up until the end of March. I have called and am never able until las week reach a live person. ast week I got a guy in the Philipines and he said he couldn't give me any more than 7 days rebate and that my payment was due on FEb 6. This isnnot true. I have my cancelled checks showing I am paid up thru March. It is very difficult to reach a live person, They have long wait times and it goes back to press on press2 etc. Then they want to charge you $9.00 for a paper statement. That is outrageous.

      We love getting a newspaper every day but when it comes after 9am or not at all, it's of no use to us. Multiple calls and emails to "customer service" are useless. It's very sad that the second largest city in Massachusetts has such a poor news source! "Breaking news" appears 2 days later in the print version. Forget about professional sports reporting! We are still waiting for $145.00 refund that we were told would be credited to our credit card. Maybe a call to the AG's office is in order!

      What kind of business sells you their product and can't deliver?? I have been a customer for this paper for over 20 years and I can't seem to find a real person to help me. I think it's the papers responsibility to get the paper to its customers, I really don't give a rats behind about if the delivery person quit, you took our money so get me your product! We are canceling our subscription.

It is important to report all delivery issues to ensure proper credit is given and to show your carrier and their manager there is an issue. Any time a route does not have a carrier, staff or substitutes will deliver. This can cause a delay for some subscribers.       Telegram and Gazette has very poor customer service. Very poor home delivery service and cannot be reach by dialing there phone numbers found on line . I paid for a one year subscription and have missed receiving a newspaper eleven days after being into my subscription for six months as of December 2021. Only on one occasion was I able to make contact with a person in the circulation department!.

      It has been over 2 weeks since you last delivered a newspaper to me. We have called each day since Christmas and you have not responded. I am sending this negative review to the Better Business Bureau since they have the Worcester Telegram listed with a business rating of A+ and they have not even responded. What is the problem with a newspaper ignoring it's reading public? James E.
