When asked the mgr would not give his last name and also would not give the franchise owners name and actually got mad and said it was none of my business. I am a tenant that he supposedly manages.

      Nexus Property Management Response

      12/15/2021

Tenant called and left a message asking for help with setting up his rent payment online. Called the tenant back and explained how to set it up and other options for sending rent in. After gong over this, we asked if there was anything else we could help him with? He requested a winning Power Ball ticket and then proceeded to inform us that he ran into a homeless person living in the common area. We asked if he called the police? He said he didn't and that it was on us to remove the homeless person. We informed the tenant that the situation is a police matter and we don't offer any sort of security service. He was not too happy to hear that it was a police matter and seemed less than interested in calling the police. We asked the tenant once again if there was anything that we could help him with and he asked for an apartment on a tropical island and then proceeded to tell us that the tenants on the second floor are drug dealers. Once again, we informed the tenant that this is a police matter and we have no evidence of the tenants on the second floor selling drugs. The tenant was less than thrilled that we informed him that drug dealers are a police matter and that we couldn't physically remove the tenants. The tenant proceeded to vent about how we don't do anything and we just sit back. The tenant then demanded my last name and the name of the owner of the franchise. We explained that my last name and the owner's name are not pertinent to any of the issues he had brought to our attention. He stated as the customer that he was owed that. We informed the tenant that the owner of the building is actually the person that hired us, has a contract with us and is the one that pays us for our service. It is our job to service the property on approvals given by the owner of the building and we are under no obligation to provide personal information to the tenants of the building. The tenant was very upset at this point and proceeded to hang up on us. W visited the property the next day and found no evidence of a homeless person living in or on the property. We would also like to point out that this is a 3-family building, meaning that the tenant has 2 immediate neighbors. The tenant believes that one of the tenants is a drug dealer (we have no evidence of this) and the other neighbor pressed charges against this tenant for a domestic dispute that he had with a female living in the unit. We believe that with the full explanation of the situation and based off the history of this tenant, that his 1-star review is inaccurate of our service.
