I purchase a car from this organization on 10/18/2023, the car was fine and a week later check engine light came on, i was suspicious that the car has head gasket because it was acting weird. I wanted to keep the car so i had my hopes on getting it repaired from a mechanic that says it is not headgasket, i brought it to a mechanic and they said its not. They fixed the car and the car was fine for some time , until approximately 11/30/2023, white smokes starting coming out of the car and the car was overheating, also had an appt with ****** dealership to check what wrong , and i got a report stating the car engine is no good and the car needs an engine. I did speak with the business to try to get help and they offered no help even though they know to fix the car is to pay the same amount i did when i purchase the car with is about $8,000. Helping hands is a Freud and they did no help for me all they did is take the money and did not want to give ack given us reason that we took time to get report for them.

On 10/18/23 ******************* purchased a 2013 ****** ***** from Helping Hands of America. It was brought to our attention on 10/25/23 that the buyer had a problem with the car. ***y were told to get an estimate in writing for said problem. We did not receive a written estimate nor heard from the customer until 12/4/23. At time of purchase the ****** had ******* miles on it, which does not carry a warranty in the **********************. ************* does have a "lemon aide" law to protect consumers and out of warranty cars. In order to obtain a refund the vehicle must NOT pass inspection (which it did) and/or you must provide the written statement within 14 days (which they did not.) In addition they had another mechanic work on the car that we did not authorize and continued to drive the car for **** miles. *** buyer and her family chose not to abide by state laws. At Helping Hands of America we always deal with issues on a case by case basis, we do our best to help our customers as we are raising funds for charity. If the customer had followed state laws and our guidance we would have gladly helped fix the car or allowed the customer to return the vehicle, unfortunately they choose not to follow our instructions.

I said previously we went to a mechanic and its not the decision of helping hand to where we have our car checked its our  decision and mechanic said car is fine and than smoke came out and it only been 43 days since purchase we were driving the car since it was fine. As I said in my message we were suspicious its head gasket but since mechanic said its okay we were okay.

We have the right to fix or purchase the car back after a customer complaint. Had the customer done what we asked in a timely manner we would have gladly paid for repairs after speaking to the mechanic or purchased the vehicle back. We did not authorize work to be done to the vehicle and can not guarantee his work of whom we have never spoken to. Problems seemed to arise after work was done to the car. Unfortunately, the customer did not follow our instructions. We are well within our rights because this car does not carry any warranty or qualify for the lemonaid law in the **********************. Please refer to: ************************************************************** ** why here...

The above message is incorrect he dont not advice us to go to certain mechanic. Also the car was not fine thats why we brought it to the mechanic , you guys are ***** and making up excuses that didnt happen, stop lying if you guys are willing to help you should looked at the car initially and agreed about taking it back instead of saying you need quote of repair. As I said previously and I keep saying it it was not our fault and we did communicate with you guys for everything but you guys did not communicate to us any of whatever your response is now.
