Hired American Cabinet Refinishing to paint my kitchen cabinets. Company gave me a quote and I went with the company. I gave them a 2,000 dollar deposit. Within a week they took my cabinet doors and primed the cabinet facing. They had the cabinets for over 2 months. Said they were having sub contractor issues and couldn't finish the job. Gave me the run around. Finally got my cabinets back. Ask the owner when I would get my money back. He wrote me a note stating I would get my deposit back on 5/31/2022. That never happened. Owner said he was looking for a job and was going to file for bankruptcy. Still haven't received my depositInitial Complaint

I contracted with American Cabinet Refinishing LLC under owner Ron ***** or Diana ***** on 3/11/2022 to prep, prime and paint my kitchen cabinets with a 5 year limited warranty. $1000.00 check was given as a deposit written 3/11/22 and was cashed. Work was supposed to start 5/20/22. I tried contacting the Company on 5/3/22, &5/4/22 via prior text message # that I had received and also by email at *****************************@********* on 5/6/22 . On 5/6/22 I also called their business Website phone number XXX-XXX-XXXX and it stated the office was closed and the mailbox was full . The website has since been taken down. Ron ***** did call me back late on 5/6/22 from XXX-XXX-XXXX stating he was unable to complete the work due to unreliable help and was going to have to file bankruptcy. He promised to return my money but I needed to give him a few months. Services have not been resolved and my money has not been returned. Last response from Ron ***** on 8/20/22 via the phone # listed above stated he was "In the job search hopefully won't be long now" Upon looking in the Maryland Judicial Search there have been multiple complaints under Ron ***** and or Diana ***** with the said above company along with two other companies known as Mr Power wash and The Paint Doctor. These two are crooks who set up multiple businesses to scam unfortunate people like myself Your help in trying to bring this to justice would be helpful
