My vehicle was towed by this company on 11-14-2021. I was able to retrieve my vehicle and once I started driving, I noticed that it is making noises and jerking especially when I reverse. My vehicle is a 2019 and I have not had any issues until this tow. I was lied to by someone named **** that stated they did not cause the damage because my vehicle was towed on a flatbed truck. I was able to see via my dashboard camera that his statement was not correct. I contacted the company again on 11-15-2021 and again I spoke with ****. This time he stated that they used a dolly to tow my vehicle. I was away from my vehicle less than 10 minutes before it was towed. I have to now go through my insurance to get my car repaired.Initial Complaint

My car was towed at 1:45AM on Saturday, October 23rd 2021. K&D Towing violated numerous parts of Sec ****** in Prince ******** County Code while doing so:1. K&D Towing did not answer the number they provided on their sign early in the morning. They are required by law to answer their telephone number "twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days a week". I have provided a screenshot showing that I called them 6 separate times early in the morning to recover my vehicle. They did not pick up once. I have a video showing two of my calls going to the answering machine that can be provided upon request. 2. I had to go to a different location to pick up my car than the one listed on the sign. This is also a violation of Prince ******** County law. I have provided a screenshot of the number provided on the sign texting me that I had to go to a different address than what was listed on the sign.3. I was not given the option to pay via credit card, as I was promised in an earlier text and as is required under PG country law: " A towing company shall accept payment in cash or by a major credit card...a towing company that violates this Subsection is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months, or both and denial, revocation, or suspension of a license pursuant to Section ************ of the Code." I have attached a screenshot of my tower telling me that I could not pay via card.4. K&D Towing is legally required to inform me of my right to my hearing on my receipt. They did not. I have attached a screenshot of my receipt.I seek a refund of the $175 I paid to K&D towing.
