I requested (verbally and in writing) Pure Barre Annapolis to stop charging my card on 12/15 but the request was never processed; my card was charged with two different amounts ($143,20 + $179) not only in December but also in January. Since the studio was not offering a solution, but instead wanted to continue charging my card I contested the transactions with my bank. Now the studio is claiming that I need to repay them back the two months, plus new fees for a total of $632.20 ('). They're treating me with sending the bill to collections and the studio owner refuses to communicate with me over the phone. If my account was frozen: why they kept charging my card?Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/06/08) */ ***Document Attached*** Response: This client is in default of her Membership Agreement with the studio. There have been numerous email and telephone correspondences. I have attached a copy of her Membership Agreement that details the terms and conditions for cancellation and freezes on the account. It is also very clear on a default in payment. The studio is not in receipt of a cancellation or freeze request from this client. The case is currently scheduled in Md Small Claims Court. Her past dues and all corresponding fees that are detailed in her contract are being brought to court.
