I was hospitalized because of vertigo and nearly died in my home. I suspect I had a mini-stroke which caused me to pass out and I woke up after some time choking on vomit. I also happened to be Covid-19 positive at the time. They abandoned me in a hallway outside the CT Scan room for a couple of hours on my first night there before bringing me to a room after sunrise the next morning. The CT scan was done on the wrong part of my body (chest instead of head). Over the next few days I received medication for covid but no treatment for what I was hospitalized for. My doctor did not take my condition seriously and only saw the dollar signs of covid money. After I was discharged I was billed for medication I did not receive and billed for services by doctors who never treated me and I never interacted with. The medication was also billed to my insurance company as general hospital services instead of prescription drugs resulting in the incorrect deductible being applied for those charges. When I reported this to their billing department it fell on deaf ears and they essentially told me to pound sand. Luminis Anne Arundel is shady and a fraud on the people of Annapolis.
