I am just starting out on my road to retirement and the initial research showed how complex the whole process is. Leaving aside the main question "what are you going to do in retirement?", there are tons of procedural ones: from portfolio structure through taxes and long term care - it's all too complicated to go it alone. This is why I am happy to have met Andrew and MDRN. My impression after the initial meeting is: "I have met a real pro". Professionals in any field seem to be a rare breed, so meeting one is a bit of good luck. At the first meeting, Andrew lay down the options and a big picture which leads me to believe that with him and the MDRN team I will have reliable partners to navigate the future retirement landscape with much more confidence.

I met MDRN Capital from a simple inquiry to an ********* ad. They were responsive and friendly and offered an opportunity to meet via Zoom. My first meeting was with Ryan G*** who gave me an overview of the company and their approach to retirement planning. I was intrigued by the proposed strategy, but had lots of questions about who they were. Next I met with Aaron C******* who was sharp as a tack. He understood every question I threw at them and answered everything in a clear and transparent way. Having doubts about entrusting my planning to a virtual-only company, I researched everything, but could find only a squeaky clean background to Aaron and Ryan, their custodian ********* and the portfolio managers they spoke about. I had a general idea of what I wanted and they met me where I was at every turn. Intrigued by their value proposition and ease of doing business, I decided to move forward with rolling over one account as a trial. It was a breeze. I quickly realized that I needed to jump in with booth feet to take full advantage of the planning they had laid out for me. MDRN Capital has made it super easy to have everything not only in one place, but working under a unified strategy. They have been very responsive, very available and exceptional at making sure I was on-boarded with care and without any lose ends.

From the very beginning of the zoom call it was clear to me that their main objective was to sell you annuities, disguised on a “financial planning” set up. When asked more in depth questions about the annuities costs, returns, etc. they evade answering with all sort of excuses.

This person scheduled a single initial session and was extremely combative in the initial conversation with our advisor. Not only did he not allow us to get to the "financial planning stage" but he basically took up the entire 45 minute session simply by asking questions about various products of which we went over numerous different options with annuities simply being one of them. NO recommendation whatsoever was made regarding any type of investment, because no actual planning session ever took place. The only thing discussed during this session was different options around different types of investments and the way they worked. Our advisor answered all of the questions this person asked him all the way up to the 45 minute time limit he had before his next meeting was waiting on him. He then told this person that they were welcome to schedule a second session to go into things further to which the person declined. They are not a client nor have they ever been a client. We still maintain the recording of the meeting showing this is what took place and that the claim made is patently false.

I found Aaron when he spoke at a lecture about retirement 5-6 yrs ago. I was a mess after my Mom's passing & the people handling her Estate weren't available. He stepped in & went above & beyond to help .He has continued to handle my finances. He continues to go above & beyond. He is always available for questions, info,whatever is needed. He always gets back to me quickly even when I say no rush. He helped me make a plan & has handled all my financial needs since. Aaron is a wonderful man. He is intelligent, honest,caring & Kind. I feel like he takes care of my finances like I was his Mother. He knows I need help & he is there to help. I feel that my finances are safe with him & anyone who knows me would say I don't say that lightly especially these days. I need help due to my health & lack of financial knowledge & Aaron is always there to advise & help his clients. I can be involved as much or as little as I choose & I am so grateful for that & him.
