Transaction began with 1/3 down pd 12/18, but the contractor put off the date placing other appts in front mine. He began the work in 3/19 & never fully completed the job & then came COVID. He was dishonest in communicating that he was not servicing homes when he actually was which contributed to time passing. Contractor left unlicensed service workers at location whom placed cabinets over trash & materials from removing old cabinets & did not clean up the trash before installing the new. The new cabinets had visible, & endless deep cuts, knicks, scratches, black paint? on a medium brown stain (used to conceal damages), unaligned doors, glue splattered all over glass and wood, glue sloppily plastered on glass, cuts into the cabinets from glass install, loose, wobbly shelves, cuts in granite top, unaligned drawers (do not close properly), missing handles-paid for, broke the door by walking into it-unable to fully close and lock door after he left which impacted home security-never repaired or cared, and broke chair because he stood on it to install doors (did not bring proper materials needed for job, etc. Tuncer stated that he would replace doors with dent/cuts but he drug his feet which resulted in company selling out of them. Stated that he would make that up to us, but hasn't kept his word though asked for it in writing. He brought back doors damaged 4/21. I asked for compensation for the project due to damages, improper installation, damages of home and all inconveniences. He cancelled his account immediately w/Home Advisor to avoid being accountable for mediation as a resolve, refusing to participate. I have since requested full reimbursement w/deadline & he stated again that he can repair damages w/stain (which is unrepairable and not new as pd) or that he would trash the uninstalled materials. Paid for brand new cabinets & feel that is unprofessional to assume that a customer will accept all of these damages as an appropriate, satisfactory job.
