As others have clearly stated this company is a fraud. I ordered a table Aug/2023. It is now end of June/2024 I have since received countless excuses as to delays, falsified delivery dates. even went as far as to falsify tracking updates for a table that never shipped! I requested my refund more than a month ago. they claim they sent it, which I know is a lie. The card used to purchase the table is no longer valid and they are using that as an excuse as to why I have not received my refund. They are basically blaming my bank, but the refund would have been processed or returned to them by now seeing how it's been a month and a half. They said they would provide me banking proof they sent it, when I asked for them to provide that they ignored me. I currently have no table and no refund for $2900. Seeing all these reviews tells me I cannot let this slide. I will be pursuing legal action. I do not care how much it costs me. These people need to learn. in an economy like today you are resorting to stealing peoples money! Shame on you!Review from Regina M

This business B&C Woodworks, owners Brian and Caroline ****** is a fraud. Similar to others who have posted here. The order of a dining table + 2 benches were never made to which we paid half, about $1500.00 in Nov. 2023. First we were told it will be delivered before X-Mas, then January, then Feb, March, April etc. Caroline basically stopped communicating in February. I kept following up and have been receiving excuses after excuses, sick kids, hospitalized kids, short staff, emergency sickness.... They have basically stolen our money and no products were delivered. Their **** account has been cancelled. It looks like they blocked me from ** from further posting a 1-star review. They blocked me from their website. We are communicating with ****** to get our money back. One thing I can say for these owners.... It won't end well. Darkness will follow you for the scams. $1500 is cheap compared to the karma that's coming to them.Review from Sarah W

They are thieves! I paid $1,500 for a table in December. Caroline continued to give me excuse after excuse and kept pushing the delivery date back. At one point, telling me that it had already been shipped. Another time, told me that it was being delivered by Brian himself. My husband stayed home all day waiting. No table. Brian called later that day saying there was a mix up on the calendar and offered a refund. Weeks later, no refund and no table. They won't return phone calls or emails and we are out the money because it's been past the 180 day time frame for PayPal to do anything. They knew exactly what they were doing! Seems to be a recurring issue with Brian ********* and BC Woodworks. I paid $1688 for a coffee table on January 6, 2023 and I have not received nor gotten a refund. Brian sent several messages in **** about reasons for the delays including some BS about it being shipped (obviously it was not) and a problem pregnancy (which I was sensitive to but that was probably BS too). Now their **** account is down, there are no responses, and no recourse for a refund. **** suggested they were a problem…nice to know that now. If anyone is researching them for some furniture, definitely don’t pay a dime until you get your furniture. BC Wodworks is not an ethical or good business.Review from Kaliopi P

I paid a deposit and was promised a table by Christmas it’s now March 14th and I have not received a table. They gave me two other dates that it would be ready and it’s not. They are now not responding to text, emails, Etsy, Facebook.Review from Claudia S

Very similar experience to prior reviewer: Paid $1500 for pantry barn doors 9 months ago. The doors haven’t arrived, and Caroline has given several excuses involving sick or dead children that I can only imagine at this point are lies. I have no recourse as I paid her through venmo. Three years ago she and Brian made us two large barn doors. Though they arrived significantly later than expected, we were happy with them. This second experience left me robbed.Review from Micah W

It saddens me to write this review but I want to hold this business accountable in hopes that they learn and provide better service to customers. Ordered a custom dining table through etsy.com mid-July 2022. The order was supposed to arrive by end of October '22, after no communication from the seller on shipping confirmation I reached out and was told they would do what they could to meet this date. Samples were a pain to get too and they didn't arrive until late November, well after the original arrival date. From there, the order was then supposed to ship end of November '22, once again, no communication from the seller. I reached out again and and the seller stated a family illness had caused the delay, but was told I'd be at the top of the list. OK, I'm understanding as the delivery would ship out and hopefully arrive before the Christmas holiday. Checked in again, was told the shipment is ready and awaiting pickup. Fast forward 2-3 weeks, no tracking # or confiramtion, checked in again, was informed the shipment wasn't picked up. It's January 8, 2023 and the table hasn't been shipped, I haven't received any pictures that I've requested over the last 3-4 months and those requests have been ignored. I've opened a case with etsy to issue a refund but the really disappointing part is my family and I have been without a dining table that we paid upfront for the last 6 months.

I never accused the seller of not issuing a refund and it is accurate that the refund was processed quickly. The review was written prior to the refund being processed.
Everything stated in the review is 100% true. I am happy to post screen shots of the etsy.com message thread (between the seller and me) to illustrate exactly what I've described. I would ask that the seller take ownership vs. stating that I am lying when the reality is that the seller did not come through on any commitment, ignored requests for pictures and progress updates and was unable to provide any proof that the table was actually made and ready for shipment.
