This involves the installation of a NEW large outdoor Canvas Awning installed last summer for the very first time. After this first installation, the awning did not fit our existing frame properly. The awning was too snug on the frame where the awning side flaps were buckled out. Also, the front flap was buckled at one corner of the frame. We contacted this business last summer AFTER the initial installation where they came to our home to see the awning. They, in so many words, AGREED that the awning was too small. The awning size was initially measured wrong to fit our existing steel frame. They tried to adjust the awning, but that did not work. Initially the installers tied the awning too tight in some areas on the frame. They re-adjusted, BUT that DID NOT address the buckled side flaps. The Awning is too small for the frame. We want the awning taken down and either have additional material added to the awning to correct OR return our money/cost of the awning in addition to the installation cost of $600. ******* Architectural Shade has been notified via telephone conversations with the owner now 3 times in the last month of April and this current month. The owner's name is Joe *******. We had been told someone would be here last week. However, no one has shown up OR made any attempt to contact us. It is very evident to us that ******* Architectural Shade does not want to take responsibility or be accountable for this problem and their mistakes in incorrectly measuring the awning OR attempting to make any amen. They had the awning in their possession all winter where THEY were well aware of this problem and made no attempts to add additional material to the awning to resolve this problem. NOTE, numerous pictures of the awning/problem areas were sent to ******* Architectural Shade last year as well as April, 2022.Business response
