On 12/15/22 a pair of bear paw boots were purchased for $111.30 by my husband. He is illiterate and therefore asked the return policy. He was told since it was a Christmas gift he could return the boots within 30 days from date of purchase. He did not wait and had me try on the boots within 5 days of purchase. They did not fit. It was the last pair they had. He took them back 6 days after purchase for a refund and was told NO REFUND, only exchange. See receipt stating refund within 7 days with a second statement underneath stating NO REFUNDS only exchanges. I went back with my husband and tried to explain the receipt and was told by ***- the owner/manager and he was rude and said "I don't know where that statement came from but NO REFUND". I alerted him as a disabled senior person he trusted what he was told by the staff to be true. Now we are stuck with boots I cannot wear snd out $111.30. That's a lot considering we are on a fix income. Please help senior citizens not be taken advantage of crooked store owners.Business response

Hi, since are policy is no refund only exchange or store credit within seven days. as a one-time courtesy I'm willing to give them a full refund. they can just bring the shoes back long as is not worn. I will go ahead Give them the full refund.
