We resided in Bromo Seltzer Art tower Studio 502 and 503 at 21 S Eutaw St UNIT 1002, Baltimore, MD 2120 until October 02, 2020. When we moved out, after giving you 30 days written notice, We left the studio cleaner than it was when we moved in. Our rent was always on time and we even got the clearance in person by Jennifer S. on October 02, 2020, and stated that we will receive our security deposit of $750 within the next 2-4 weeks. In the state of Maryland, a landlord has 45 days from the date of tenant move out to return all, or a portion of, the tenant's security deposit plus any interest. This must be sent by first-class mail to the last known address of the tenant. Along with the portion of the security deposit that is owed to the tenant, the landlord must include a written itemized list of any deductions that have been taken from the security deposit. If a landlord wrongfully withholds all or a portion of the deposit, the tenant could be awarded up the three times the amount wrongfully withheld, plus reasonable attorney's fees. It is now over a year late returning our deposit. We know about our rights under MD Code, Real Property § 8-203 and we emailed Annie A. and Jennifer S. that if we do not receive a proper response and plan to return our deposit within 4 business days, We will take this matter to small claims court.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/04) */ A refund check is forth coming. Due to the pandemic the artists could not access studios from April and May 2020 and were not charged any rent. Ms. **** was granted a reprieve in rent for June, July, and August due to illness and a death in the family. She returned in September and gave notice.
