I requested to return 7 items. I was provided a return label. Two days later, I requested to send back everything that I had left and cancel my subscription. The customer service representative would not provide me an additional return label, stated they could not do that since I already had requested one. She ASSURED me that I could return EVERYTHING with this one label, even though the label clearly stated I was only returning 7 items, when in fact I was returning 16. I was also told that I did not need to send back the product in their original boxes ( I didn't have a box big enough to send everything back). I begged the CSR to take inventory of what I was sending back additionally and she would not. I took pictures of EVERYTHING I was sending back for fear of something happening, them claiming I never sent back inventory. I started this process April 8. They received the inventory I sent back April 15th. If they received the original 7 items, they received all 16 items as I packaged them together. They processed the original 7 item refund but refuse to refund me the additional 9 items I sent back stating the *** label does not match the weight of the box. I have spoken to 6 different CSR either via text or phone. I was told that they will not process the additional return stating the weight of the box does not match. I REFUSE to let this go. They owe me $131. I do not have the support of my former coach as she believes she cannot provide any additional help. If I could give ANYONE a piece of advice, it would be to NOT join OPTAVIA. I requested an order be canceled. The company still took my money and shipped my order. Which was fine because I did request the cancellation when the order was in process. However, then the company stopped the order while it was already on the way to me. Now almost a month later, they still have my significant amount of many AND they have the product on the way back to them. They are refusing to refund my money until the order is physically returned to them, even though they requested the stop on the delivery and initiated the package be returns to them. They don’t care about the customer at all. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!Review from Diana P

I wish I could give Optavia negative star rating. They do not even deserve one star. I just spoke to Nicholas who works at the HQ call center in Baltimore, MD as a supervisor. I explained to him that I would like to close my account to not receive any more monthly orders. I do not know the email I used. I only had an old account number from about a year ago. Even though I have the box with the Sales order number on a sticker (there was no paperwork inside) and offered this number to him several times in the beginning of the call and he said he could not do anything with it. His only solution was for me to call my coach, which I have explained I have tried a few times in the past, but did not hear back from her. I asked him if he could contact her and he said he was not allowed to do so. It’s ridiculous that she can close my account, but him being a supervisor cannot do so. And he works at Optavia HQ with all of their information in his computer, and he can’t access the same information that she can access? Ridiculous! Nicholas proceeded to Interrupt me repeatedly, speak over me and continually repeat unhelpful, phrases such as without that number there is nothing I can do for you, I already told you, as I said, before, and other phrases that were unhelpful. After 15 minutes he said if I can give him a sales order # he could “probably”try to initiate a “refund inquiry case”. He said it’s not 100% guaranteed. I asked him if he could send me the information to my current email address not the one that I cannot find and he said no. It must go to the one that’s associated with the account, even though they can’t find the account. Of course, I told him that doesn’t make any sense, and he just kept repeating the same thing. Octavia has no business employing people like this to speak to customers. It’s a waste of my time and it’s not going to create positive reviews for them. Horrible trying to cancel. I canceled my order and the next day they sent out the product. I called and email so they could intercept the package so I would not receive it. They did not. I feel they just wanted a reason to charge the 500 dollars and now I have to ship the box back and pay for it to be shipped back and wait on them to give my money back.Review from Terry S

I'm actually surprised with all the negative reviews. I've used this product off and on for the last 3 years. I'm surprised how good alot of the products taste with minimal calories. If following the plan you can be successful. It's pricey, but all diet or quality foods are. I'm not using it now, just needed a break.Review from Steve K

Food is processed. Many ingredients bad for the people that have heart, thyroid and many other conditions. The coaches use social media to post before and after pictures. Many of the pictures don't show the complete face of the person and sometimes not at all. Many people are fake by stating the plan helped them loose weight. But you can see that these people also used exercise to loose weight and tone up. The cost of the food is ridiculous. Most coaches change to making meals that they buy at the grocery store that are healthy like veggies, lean meats, non processed foods, fruits, fish and etc. They do not invest in the plans after they loose the weight. So it's best to save money, shop healthier, and exercise on a regular basis.Review from Corey B

In 2019 I cut all ties with Optavia and they were supposed to have removed ALL MY PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM THEIR FILES. Unfortunately I started receive emails from them this month out of the clear blue, saying I had requested information. I NEVER REQUESTED ANYTHING FROM THEM EXCEPT IN 2019 TO NEVER CONTACT ME AGAIN! I WANT THEM TO STOP CONTACTING ME IMMEDIATELY. I WOULD NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND NEITHER WOULD I RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THEM - EVER!
