Concrete steps and porch was replaced with stamped concrete in August 2021. The concrete is cracking and is discolored. I reached out to BMA first in December 2021 to let him know about the problem. I was told they would take care of it the beginning of the year which was fine with me. I called again in February and was told they were working on a job and would come out to look at it as soon as they finished that project. I waited for a call that never happened so I reached out again in March. The owner Byron told me he would send one of his guys over to look at it. Weeks went by no respond , only excuses for not coming out. I sent pictures of the problem and was told they would come out the following week. I waited no show, this happened several times. My last call was this morning when I was told its been longer then three months since the job was done and its not under warranty any longer. This is when I truly felt like I was not getting any satisfaction. I ask him where did it say that on the contract. I ask him for a copy of the contract and was told I should have one. I Immediately searched for a copy of the contract which does not state anything regarding a warrant. This problem happened within four months of job completion. I am not an expert in the matter but I do know this should not of happened. Byron never had the courtesy to stop by to look at the damage as he promised months ago.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/05/27) */ Hi good afternoon we did a great job everything was fine she pay the final project when the job was done the concrete don't have warranty become sometimes costumer install wrong snow salt and we being fixing problems like that but in that point that project can be fix after the owner of the house agreed to pay material and labor work because in the contract for concrete job it's not a warranty except if costumer like to pay twice same price at this point we have proof that concrete get damage with something and scratches it's not a crack between the entire project it's a corner where some can hit that and unfortunately we tell the owner she has to pay again for fix that problem. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/06/03) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not agree with this company at all. This job was done August 2021 and I have been complaining since December. This is not my first time having stamped concrete. The concrete before this lasted ten plus years before it stated to fade. This is the reason I had it replaced in the first place. I was told my Byron at BMA that the company who did the work the first time must have painted the concrete as to the reason the color was fading. I trusted and believed him and had the concrete done over again only to get cracking and discoloration less then six months later. Snow sweeps right off the concrete so its o need to put salt on it at all. I have not had any large machinery at my house drilling to cause the concrete to be this way. I am not willing to pay this company to redo a job that should have been done correctly the first time. BMA should have had the decency to at least stop over and look at the job. Never did, excuses after excuses. The discoloration is mostly on the edges of the steps and corners almost as if it wasn't enough sealer put down. I'm not an expert but I do know if I'm paying this kind of money mishaps should not be showing in less then a year no matter what. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have included a picture of my 10year old stamped concrete. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/06/07) */ Good evening unfortunately the job was done right like we always do on each job and i never hear something like this we being doing stamped concrete for long time and the specialist on stamped concrete tell me this concrete get bad because the snow salt make that I trust on them because they are the one saling the material for this type of work what ( i can do is i can come and broke that form and redue again and do it it's go be same process but you have pay for all the material required for this type of job we can't fixed again because this job don't have a warranty, if a job has a warranty it will say in the contract the job was done August and past more then 6 months so that's the deal i can do fixed but material and fees will be in the costumer) ATT. Byron Mayen Consumer Response /* (3000, 16, 2022/06/16) */ ***Document Attached*** This situation has not been resolved. The email went to my junk mail. I totally disagree with the owner. No salt was put on the concrete. Also, they applied a sealer on my back patio at the same time and they is also discolored. I will not pay to have this company do a job that should have been don correctly in the first place. I'm not sure what was used to coat the cement but what ever it was it did not work. Please see pictures of the patio. Thanks.
