I went to Hyde Lounge on Nov 14 22 to book for my 40 Birthday party for on Dec 16 22. During that visit, my self the owner(vishua) and my event coordinate (Andra) talked about date, time what would be included in the rental. I was referred by a friend so i was offered a friends and family discount of 700. She said a deposit of half($350) would be due the day of booking, which I sent via **** transition from **** ******* account. I asked about a deadline to cancel and get my deposit back she replied that that information would be in my rental agreement which i would get in a day. Two weeks went by and i had not heard anything from the vender. I sent her a text asking for the contract. She replied that she had been sick and would send the agreement the next day. She later sent me a message asking me ALL the details of my event as if this was our first time speaking. i updated her on what we talked about she said i was mistaken about the price. She said that the venue was 750 to rent. I quoted $500 to her, because at the meeting she told me the price was $700 which included bartenders, security and DJ. I asked if i used my own DJ would the price be different, she said the DJ was $200, so i assumed my price would be $500. There was some back and forth and i asked for my deposit back. She called the friend who refred me and had her intervene. We talked and i came to the understanding that i misunderstood that the DJ was $200 extra and the price would not change if i brought my own. On Nov 30,2022 i was told i would have the agreement by the end of that day. The next day i received an invoice. i once again asked for a contract she said i would get one after i paid the balance. I again asked for a refund and she said that i was not entailed to one because it was a discounted rate none of which she said with our initial meeting. I tried disputing the ***** transition with the my bank and **** for services not rendered, but they said i meant to send the money to her.
