  I call AAA to have 2 city trees cut back to my property line in the front of my row home the trees are on each side of my house the contract states to cut back trees to property line and that they are city trees and that Zach had to be their to show the job they came and cut the trees about 1 1/2 hours later they knocked on door and said they were done I went out to check the job and told them that's not what I ask to be done they cut the pear tree 80 % off my neighbors property not mine the employee laughed at me and said that's what I ask for I told him no I didn't my contact states remove tree off my property they were already packed up to leave I call the office and told them what was happening they called him and after he got off the phone he was yelling and taking stuff off the truck, they go back up the tree and start cutting again but this time it was more like chopping to remove more tree from my property he came back to the door again and said they were done and I told him I was not happy with how the tree looked , it chopped and still has branches hanging on my property he was disrespectful to me and I told him I was not going to deal with him anymore and the whole crew left them Zach called and ask me what was going on I told him the job was not done as I ask he then said I seen the picture and it is I told him to come back to my house and see it in person and of course when he came he said it was what I ask for and I told him my contact states remove tree from my property line not my neighbors then I told him I wanted the limbs that were chopped cut uniform he said he had to told to someone at the office and he would get back to me which he did and said they will remove the tree limbs and the office will call to schedule. The next day I get a email from them that say I need to sign a waiver for them to remove the 3 limbs this was never told to me before the email I reply I was have to have my lawyer look at the waiver then I get a email I'm being diffic

LINE 1 OBVIOUSLY STATES WE ARE REMOVING 3 LEADS OFF HER SIDE AND SECONDARY BRANCHES IF NECESSARY. I HAVE ATTACHED HER SIGNED PROPOSAL SHOWING WHERE SHE SIGNED OFF ON THIS. ONCE THE CREW WAS DONE THEY KNOCKED TO SHOW THE CLIENT AND SHE SAID YOU DIDN'T TAKE OFF AS MUCH AS I WANTED. MY FOREMAN SAID WE COMPLETED THE WORK AS DESCRIBED ON HER SIGNED PROPOSAL AND SHE EXPRESSED SHE WASN'T HAPPY SO HE WENT UP THE TREE AND TOOK OFF SOME SECONDARY BRANCHES. SHE COMPLAINED BOTH TO ZACH AND THE OFFICE SO ZACH RAN OVER THE SAME DAY AND TOLD HER THE TREE LOOKS GREAT NO NEED TO TAKE MORE OFF. SHE WASN'T HAPPY. SO ZACH SAID OK WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO MAKE YOU HAPPY. SHE SAID 3 MORE BRANCHES HE SAID LET ME DISCUSS WITH OFFICE. THE OWNER TOLD ***** THAT TAKING 3 MORE BRANCHES OFF WAS NOT NECESSARY FOR THE HEALTH OF THE TREE AND IT'S A CITY TREE, SEE ATTACHED PICTURE SO WE AGREED THAT TO MAKE HER HAPPY TO TAKE OFF THE BRANCHES AS LONG AS SHE SIGNED A WAIVER STATING WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF THE CITY TREE DIES. WE ARE LICENSED TREE EXPERTS IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND SO WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILTY TO TRIM THE CORRECT WAY AND PRESERVE THE TREE. Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2021/12/06) */ To whom it may concern, I was unable to respond by the December 5 deadline because I have been extremely sick. I totally disagree with the response of A-AAA tree service when Zach came to my home to give a estimate we discussed what I wanted done to the tree and that was to remove tree over hanging my property, I said it was a city tree and they would not need a permit to cut the tree at my property line Baltimore City has very strict trees trimming laws they do not go by the State of Maryland tree laws !! He then told me they would cut 3 leads and showed me which ones he then said they will cut the small branches that hang over my property at no time did we ever speak of removing and of the tree from anywhere else!! When they did the job they cut 5 large branches on the opposite side of the not even close to my property and was ready to leave when I told the tree cutter that's not what I ask to be done he laughed at I then told him he needs to call Zach because the job want done right after he spoke with Zach they went back up the tree and started cutting on my property side they count small branches half way it looks so unprofessional , when Zach came out to look at the job he told me they did what I ask for I told him No they didn't first of all We never spoke anything about removing any of the tree from my neighbors property and that's where most of the tree was removed from I then told him I wanted the branches cut that they only cut halfway and one other small branch that was overhanging my property he then said he had to talk to the office they then sent me a waiver to sign say I would take responsibility if the tree dies from cut more branches, I then replied I will have to speak to my lawyer before signing anything and that I was not going to be responsible for the error they made . Tracy sends me a rude message back instead of trying to correct the problem and demanded payment or she will send my bill to her lawyer and collections which she did which is unacceptable because she never made any attempt to make it right !!! I will not pay for a job that was not done as I ask I have called Baltimore City forest department to have them come out about them cutting the tree pass ** property line without a permit, I have had this tree cut off of my property line 3 different times and never have they ever cut any but what was on my property!!! My neighbor is angry because they cut away the tree that shades her house and I don't blame her for being upset. Business Response /* (4000, 21, 2022/01/13) */ We are a professional company. We give all clients a written estimate with explicit instructions on what work is to be done. She complied and signed before any work began. After the job was completed, she complained and wanted additional branches to be taken off. To settle the matter, we requested a signed waiver from her which she refused to sign. She informed us that she would not be paying for the work already completed. We had no choice but to send it to collections. The matter has been resolved and payment for services rendered has been received.
