Hired this company to move furniture from a ***** into a storage unit on August 15, 2023. The items in the moving truck were secured and stacked safely. Two employees showed up 30 minutes late, and immediately began unloading the truck. There was no conversation, no paperwork that was signed and no issues with how the truck was loaded at that time was mentioned. The two employees then loaded a dresser on a cart and took it off the truck. The dresser was not stabilized onto the cart properly and as they were taking it down the ramp the dresser tipped over and fell, damaging it beyond repair. The pictures are below. They also scratched several other pieces of furniture while moving it and stacking it unsafely into the empty storage unit. I contacted the owner of this business and he pushed blame to everyone but his irresponsible and completely unprofessional employees. They demanded the code for the service at the end of the job, even though they knew about the damages and did nothing about any of it. The company was booked through the ***** website-- they were advertised as moving help and ***** generates a code to give to them when the job is complete. I gave them the code and that was the last I heard from the business. I reached out to them via email, *************************** and the owner was rude and unprofessional with his responses. I also filed a claim through ************** using job# *********** the job that was generated through *****, to no avail. If nothing is resolved through the BBB, I will be filing a lawsuit against this company for damages and any other costs that were incurred to do so.
