Personnel do not how to treat people or how to be professional, nurses and doctors have an attitude problem. It took 1 hour just for them to sing me in. I was the first one when they first opened and 3 patients were front loaded because they cannot do their job. Nurses are rude and do not care about what you tell them. Reason why I had to step out of the room to ask for assistance to there personnel who also did not seem to care.Review from Shenika M

They had employees who were not working behind the desk with two kids playing around . They only people who were professional was the x ray tech and the doctor. This was the worst experience I ever have had . I will go sit in the emergency roomReview from DANIEL B

Express care urgent care Westminster. 7/16/23 I called yesterday to schedule a appointment for my wife and was told I needed to give them my credit or debit card for them to put on file. Kelly said that's there policy that you won't been seen. Really we have been coming to this location since they opened and never had any issues. We have great insurance and always paid are copay before we left. There is no way everyone that comes in there have insurance, credit or debit card. This is flat out extortion, that because there are deadbeats that don't pay there bills that honest hard working people like ourselves that have insurance great credit and owe nobody are treated like trash. So anyway my wife took herself toUNI Urgent care On Jamar Ln walked right in just handed her insurance card and was seen in 15 minutes. She explained to the doctor about Westminster Urgents policy and was told that it was totally unethical as well as illegal. Bottom line they gave her antibiotics and we found a new place to see honest doctors without being rated by how much credit you have. Btw we both have had our credit cards compromised over the last 10 years numerous times and we believe in 2 cases the receptionist was the culprit. So we refuse to give our cards to anyone we don't know. Period !Review from Tearra P

If a lower review was POSSIBLE BABY I’D LEAVE IT! How did I make my 2 yr old an appointment, I arrive and am told there’s only a doctor there who sees patients 13 and up! I took an Uber there after work. What if that was my last bit of money to get my child some help? Why didn’t anyone CALL once they saw me register him so that I could make other plans? My child was wheezing!! Was I supposed to let him die? I’ll NEVER visit this establishment EVER again! Literally disgusting!Review from Greg B

Their billing depart is ridiculous. I have never not paid a bill, but 4 years after a visit I get a notice from ********* that a claim has been field by a collection agency in my name. We paid the previous balance the day of the visit with no issues. Then the next payment is made, but apparently rejected by the credit card company. (Guessing we had a new card between the visit and the billing.) Its unbelievable that ExpressCare Urgent Care did not have the decency to call us to let us know the card was declined. Apparently they sent us 8 bills. (Never saw them or we would have followed up.) Now 4 years later I am paying the bill plus fees in order to clear up my credit. That is applauding! This is not the level of customer relations I expect from a local company.Review from Tiffany D

Good Morning Tiffany,
Thank you so much for your feedback and I apologize for your experience. We are in the middle of hiring a new cleaning company due to the cleaners not exceeding expectations, which you have experienced during your visit. Our new cleaning company will be starting within the next few weeks and we expect the location to look a lot better.
Regards,

This was the most disappointing place I have ever been to !! I walked in the door and there were 3 people and 2 hours later I finally walked out, the girls at the front desk were very nice so I can't complain about them, I was there to get a covid test in which I knew I was positive but wanted proof for work, when they finally called me back about 45 minutes later the person who took my test was very nice and then told me to go into room 4, it went downhill after that a 15 minute test ended up taking me 1 hr and 15 minutes of sitting in a room, I opened the door and asked if they could just email my results as I was not feeling the best and wanted to get home they told me " you need to stay in the room til you see a provider" 😡 the niceness of the staff turned very nasty and did not even turn to look at me, I closed the door and sat longer I opened the door 15 minutes later and said I had to go they all kept their backs to me and continued saying your results are coming, finally the provider came. And said your positive follow up with you health care provider. My daughter is a nurse but the treatment they gave me was appalling, just do your job the best you can with a kind heart I would never visit this establishment again. A covid-19, 15 minute rapid test turned into a 2hr + visitReview from Michele G

I went to Express Care 3815 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21229 to get a COVID-19 Test. My complaint is that I was exposed to a person that was diagnosed with COVID and wanted to test to see if I had COVID also. When I got the medical summary back, the doctor added that I came to Express Care and complained about an Acute Cough. THAT WAS TOTALLY UNTRUE! I did not come to Express Care to complain about an Acute Cough. We discussed my having a cough in context of discussing the symptoms of COVID, and that although I had the cough, I did not think it was related to COVID. I explained that the cough flares up every once in a while. I was not coughing in the exam room, nor did I have an Acute cough while I was sitting in the waiting room. The doctor asked me to blow into a device, which I thought was part of the COVID testing. But did not show any deterioration in my breathing apparatus. Then they reported I came in because of an Acute Cough. This is Fraud and puts something my my health records that is untrue.Review from Adam R

My family and I visited the Owings Mills ExpressCare center. After checking in at the front desk, my family and I waited 3 hours on Sunday January 16, 2021, for someone to call us. Once the representative called, I informed her we were on our way in. A few minutes later, the same young lady called back and said that she saw an appointment for us at the Eldersburg ExpressCare and asked if we prefer to go to Eldersburg. I told her we prefer to go to Owings Mills. She then said, "Well you have to come in now". I responded, "We are coming now!". Two minutes later, I believe the same young lady called back and said, "You told me you were here, so I cancelled your appointment, and now you have to go to Eldersburg." I explained to her I was not there but 5 minutes away. She asked me why I said I was in the parking lot. I never, ever said I was in the parking lot. I had no motive to tell a lie. I was there and previously asked how long we have if we leave to return and, at first, I was told 15 minutes. I was not feeling well so I knew I could not wait hours in the car to get tested. The young lady said there was nothing she can do and proceeded to say go to Eldersburg. I told her I'm going to come to Owings Mills because I have been waiting for hours. After arriving to Owings Mills, to get clarification, I asked the lady at the desk (which was much nicer and customer friendlier than the young lady I talked to over the phone) how long did I have until I was called to return, and she told me 20 minutes. I explained that the representative called at 2:33pm and it was now 2:39pm. She politely asked for me to wait while she talked to the young lady I spoke with over the phone. The young lady came out and as I proceeded to explain, she cut me off and she yelled, "I'm not seeing you today. You told me you were in the parking lot and I looked for you and you were not there. If you did not say that you was in the parking lot I would have put on the timer and gave you 20 minutes to arrive. But you didn't. So now you have to go to Eldersburg!" I explained to her I never said I was in the parking lot. She cut me off again and said, "I will not see you today, have a nice day." I ask to speak to a manager or a higher authority and she said she was the manager/higher authority. I then asked to file a complaint and was told "go online" with an attitude from the young lady. I sat in the lobby to see if I could contact customer service there but was told that I could not sit in the lobby and there is nothing I could do. Before leaving, I told the young lady she was not right for treating us this way. She responded with "Oh well, you shouldn't have said you was in the parking lot." While walking out, (I believe it was the same young lady but not completely sure) I heard a lady say, "Take your ass to Eldersburg, bye!" I called back to ask for the young lady's name and she said with an attitude, "My name is Monique". I asked for her last name, and she said, "all you have to do is say Monique from Owings Mills". I am not sure why Monique decided to treat my family and I this way that day. I am desperately hoping the treatment we received from her that day was abnormal. Monique's actions were not a profitable asset to ExpressCare's service and standards with us that day. Monique's lack of compassion and courtesy makes me question why she is in a field to help people. I am writing this complaint in hopes of an apology from Monique and proper training when dealing with customers.Express Care Urgent Care Centers Response
