I contacted Beltway Blinds in May of this year to have blinds installed in 2 windows in my sunroom. The salesperson arrived on 5/15 and didn't really seem to understand what I needed when I asked for suggestions, but finally told me that I should get vertical blinds. Another 2 guys were sent out to remeasure on 5/22, and I was told I couldn't use vertical blinds for these windows, but changed their minds after calling someone. I was contacted in June to schedule installation for 6/24 but was contacted again to change installation between noon and 4:00 on 6/27. The installer arrived at 4:30 but did not have the correct blinds with him. I called their office and left a message that I was VERY unhappy, but nobody returned my call, so I called again the next day. I was told by the customer service woman (who kept referring to me as "sir"--I'm a woman) that they were going to reorder my blinds and would call me to reschedule installation. I asked if I was going to get any monetary consideration for all of this, and she said that they couldn't do this until AFTER installation! Think twice about using Beltway--I won't be using them again, that's for sure.Beltway Blinds Response

The product is outstanding but the customer service is the worst! I had to wait almost 2 months for installation and I really love how the blnds look (I actually ordered a second time for other windows in my house ). The problem is when I needed customer service from them - they never return calls and they are very unresponsive. When they say they will do something - it never happens. Due to the customer service, I would not order from them againBeltway Blinds Response

I want you to know that we also realized we were having a customer service issue, and we have made some major changes in that department, beginning with hiring a new Director of Client Happiness, as well as replacing what we found to be some really rotten apples. They have been to my house twice to install an electric blind . Both times the blind was missing the electric component. I lost a days of work each time they have come. Today they canceled due to inclement weather which I understand. I asked for the accommodation to move for installation this Friday but they say they can’t. The problem that I have with this is both times were your mistake. The 3rd time was weather related…ok. At what point due you take accountability for the dual mistake and incorporate customer satisfaction into the equation. Be impeccable during the sale but it’s importantly after the sale. I used them based on a profession referral. Unfortunately, this company fails deliver when in error.Beltway Blinds Response

I ordered an awning that when installed does not fit in the area it was installed making it unable to install the hood option. The salesman should never have allowed me to order an item that was not able to fit in the area. There was another type awning with just a casing instead of a hood but they would not allow another awning to be ordered in place of this one instead we have been going around and around with a different installation option from the roof. I have requesting pictures of how this installation looks but have received no photos. This option requires holes to be put in my roof and I want to be sure I like this option before work begins. If not, then I would like to have the awning removed and refunded but they are stating this in not an option. Very Very disappointed. This awning costs $6000 you would think they would be more understanding considering it was the salesman that made the error NOT the customer.Review from Loverna J

I had the company put custom blinds in my home and all was fine until my patio blind kept breaking. The first time a guy came out and fixed it. Then it broke again. The second time they patched it up and said that I needed a new one. It’s been months and I still have not received a new blind. I’ve called the company several times and three times they scheduled a tech visit and canceled. The fourth time they came out took down my old one but brought a blind that did not fit, had missing parts, was not the right material nor the right color. The tech noticed the same thing. He called the company three times for me and they told him they would make note of it. I told him ask for a manager and he was told that she was at lunch the same story that they gave me each time that I called to get some resolution for the installation date. When I told the tech to put the old blind back up until they can order the correct one he said he couldn’t because he trashed the old one so they asked me if I wanted paper blinds until I got the correct one. I told them no so they left the one they brought. When I called to find out about getting a new one. The lady on the phone acts like she didn’t know what I was talking about so I asked for her boss who supposedly was still at lunch two hours later. She said she’d talk to her and call me back and nothing happened. I paid a lot of money for that custom blind and they are constantly giving me the runaround months later without a care or resolution so I now have a too small broken blind on my door that they had lying around and cannot tell me how they will resolve my issue with the correct blind and when it will be corrected. Their customer service is the worst and they do not care about their consumers. They just take your money, claim they are sorry yet make no effort to correct the problem. This has gone on too long. I just want the issue resolved correctly with the right product and some concern for me as a consumer.Review from Forrest B

Worst experience ever! The sales person literally told me whatever I wanted to hear and then when it came time to install I got subpar lines and it has taken me months to try to get someone on the phone to fix the hole they put in my wall, which is still there And half of the blinds don’t even work. I have emailed, I have called I’ve even mailed a letter and no one responds back to anything.Beltway Blinds Response

If I could give half a star I would. We had blinds installed on 9/13/22, with warranty. The blinds for the Primary Bedroom and Bath came with a remote. And, three of the bedrooms have a clicking sound from opening/closing the blinds, (Locking Mechanism Problem). That was reported a week after install. Time went on, busy lives etc., the remote goes out, and it is not just the battery. The Tech Support recommended we request a new remote. This was September 2023, we have had a representative come to our home to make a video, this was in October. Supposedly there was discussion on how to address the issues, we were not informed an order was put in for the remote nor whether locking mechanisms will be replaced. On top of all this, the representative has been in contact with my wife and I, via text, and telephone tag. She’s asking the same questions over again about what the issue is, but apparently no order has been put in, because she does not know which rooms, This has gone back and forth for over a month. If you are thinking about doing business with them; “Caveat Emptor”. Paid too much money for shabby customer service. Finally, you must contact BWB via Answering Service, leave a message and someone will call you back. But when they call, it does not display on the phone it is BWB. That to me is a problem with a business that does not want customers know it is them calling you. After listening to voicemail, you find they returned a call for 18 seconds, you call back and go through the whole process all over again. Not worth the aggravation!Review from Wayne F

I called Beltway Blinds and they came the next day to complete a free design consultation. The designer was incredibly knowledgeable and was able to answer all my questions. I was updated on my order throughout the entire process, and my installation was flawless. Professional and reliable from the beginning to the end. Thank you Beltway Blinds for your outstanding work, I can't believe how great my home now looks. Absolutely will be calling back when my basement is complete and ready for blinds.Review from Rob H

The whole process was very smooth from start to finish. From the consultation to the install and everything in between. Customer service was top notch. I received updates regularly regarding my order and time frame. I would highly recommend Beltway Blinds for your next window treatment project. A++
