      I belong to American Home Shield, which is another company I have a problem with. My pool heater was declared unfixable last September 2021 by Universal Pool and Spas. American Home Shield said they would replace it. I was told I would have to wait until next spring to have it replaced because do to covid pool heaters were not available. I understood this. So I started contacting both companies in February. The pool company kept saying they needed authorization from AHS. Took months to get the authorization. Finally on June 9, 2022 Universal came and installed a new heater. When I saw the job, the pool heater was severely damaged. When they showed me the damage I saw only the inside of the pool heater,I could see one corner was bent and scraped. The worker asked me for black paint so he could paint the scrape before he put the top on. The other thing I noticed was that the heater was backwards. I said something but was told I would have to wait another 6 months for a heater so I better take this one. When I looked at the job after he left I noticed that the whole top of the heater, the corner including the back was caved in. The heater was teetering on my old bricks, he had taken my platform that I had for the old heater. Also because the gas line came in the opposite way, there was no gas hook up. Also the worker cut down my air intake line for my spa. I suppose he needed piping and cut the pipe off. I called AHS and Universal immediately. AHS never answered my request to not pay universal. And Universal would not answer my phone calls or my email. After I emailed AHS they finally emailed me back.A woman named Tamara sent another company out. The new company is Clearwater Management. They said the heater was severely damaged and needed to be replaced, the electrical hook up was not safe, I needed a platform for the heater and if Universal changed the plumbing the heater would be facing the right way and the gas could be hooked up. AHS gave the ok, would not do
