My problems are similar to the ones I read of a review on the Top Tech website from the BBB. No sooner was my HVAC replaced than the problems began. Josh at Top Tech, or his mother (family-owned business) would promise and confirm an appointment, and like the review, and I would always recheck that confirmation. And I, too, was stood up. I had to go to a local hotel and spend to stay on more than one occasion because of this. I even referred a friend to Top Tech back then. They left a message and their call was never returned. It would have been a big job. Top Tech failed to follow up when I repeatedly requested a Maintenance Agreement. I repeatedly requested but never received a copy of the bill. I explained that I needed to show this to my HOA, and could they at least email it to the HOA. No response. I have a copy of the estimate and a copy of the Credit Card payment made to Top Tech in the amount of over $6K. This matches the amount of the credit card purchase to Top Tech. I had another company do a maintenance checkup. They showed me that the Wet (Water Safety) switch had never been reattached to the HVAC installed by Top Tech. Had there been excess water, the system would have shut down and additional repair costs would have occurred. In the meantime, the tech from the other company recommended having the Unit Line flushed, which was later done. In addition, the tech noted that there was a possible leak in the AC coil, since the PSI reading was 78 and it should read approximately 120 PSI. This tech said that it could cause the loss of AC and to contact Top Tech since they installed. Again, I repeatedly tried to reach someone at Top Tech, and again, no response. Yesterday, I lost AC. Contacted Top Tech and again no response. New tech said that the cost of ***** alone, plus waiting for an AC coil could be the same as purchasing a new HVAC system. Josh no longer works for Top Tech, or so says his uncle. Family owned biz, though.
