Petro home services has supplied my household with heating oil and oil furnace maintenance since Sept. 2019. Summer of 2021 due to an A/C unit being replaced we had a new oil furnace installed. The following winter('21-'22) my household was run out of oil twice due to high oil consumption. In the course of that winter I discussed with Petro possible causes and solutions to higher oil consumption than either myself or petro expected. Spring of '22 I had a verbal agreement with the manager I had been sorting out the issue with. Fall '22 when oil usage began again I called after the first delivery as agreed. Manager I worked with was no longer with the company. We started the fact finding mission anew. However, I have had an issue with Petro managers/supervisors/etc with whom I make some progress failing to answer my calls, failing to return calls after messages are left, or when by the time (if at all) they agree to. This has been an on going and reaccuring issue with Petro since fall '22 and has continued to today. Each time I speak to a new person, they want to send a service technician to my house, and in most cases I have obliged, I have had easily a dozen service technicians to check my furnace, by fuel line both into my fuel tank and from the tank to the furnace. They stated that everything is working well, but agree my fuel usage is high to extremely high. While several representatives at Petro Home Services have agreed my fuel usage is high to extremely high, for what my thermostat is put to, and comparing to the weather and past usage for my household. No solution, cause, or offers for fixes have been offered expect roughly "waiting till next year" to begin the fact finding mission once more. A salesperson called me last month asking if I wished to renew my year fuel contract, and I told them I did not want to till this issue had been fully resolved I have received two receipts by mail for year contracts that have been renewed.
