            June 8,2022. I received a check from Brian H***** of Horney's Masonary for a refund of work not performed yet!The check was supposed to be 5250.00 and he only gave me 5000.00. I told him he owed me the 250.00 and he refused to give me the full amount. I deposited the check and it bounced,which I then contacted Brian H***** and he ageed to give me the full amount 5250.00 plus returned check fee in cash at his bank on Monday June 13,2022. He met me at his bank and still only gave me 5000.00 and the late fee of 35.00. I told him I wanted a full refund and he just left the bank in a hurry.I had to fire him from the job because he was 2 months late starting and the work was terrible!

            BEWARE! This is an LLC general contractor who hires at least one SUBPAR subcontractor who was going to build on top of existing crumbling concrete blocks - if I hadn't been home to make them do it right the steps would have fallen apart again. The brickwork is sloppy and bricks are covered with mortar. The concrete got rained on to a point the brush finish disappeared and Horney won't even acknowledge it. Do yourself a favor and hire a real mason and stay far away from this general contractor.
