We were referred here by a friend. We reserved a puppy for a $300 deposit on Sun 9/11/22 but were told she was small and would be ready to go home in about a week. We were asked to pay down the balance due to her having another pregnant dog in urgent need of vet care. We paid an additional $300. We thought they were located in Maryland and planned to get the puppy on Sun 9/18/2022. As we tried to arrange for meeting location, on Wed 9/14/2022, we were asked for an additional payment for the urgent care for the pregnant dog, still under the impression they were in Maryland, only about 1 hr from our home. We offered to pick up the dog the following day and thus pay the remaining balance in whole but were told it may interfere with caring for the pregnant dog. We were promised if we paid an additional $400 (total $1000 of an agreed upon $1400), the puppy would be delivered to us with no delivery fee on Thursday 9/15/2022. We agreed and paid (all transactions via *****). The dog was not delivered on Thursday 9/15 with Latrice stating she hadn't slept with the current state of the pregnant dog. She said she would arrange what day she could deliver the dog since she was, much to our surprise, 4 hours away. She had moved to Virginia, apparently 5.5 hrs away. Delivery was rescheduled for Sun 9/18, but communication abruptly stopped Friday 9/16/2022. I received a text on Sun 9/18/2022 after 5pm, that stated it was from Latrice's mother-in-law and Latrice had been in a car accident and stated she was finally able to get into her phone. It stated she would be discharged from the hospital the following day, Monday 9/19/2022. I called her on Tuesday 9/22 and communication from that point indicated she in North Carolina 8.5 hrs away. We could not work out delivery through a service (suspecting the puppy did not have a health certificate) after called a pet transport company (**** ****** *** ********* on 9/21) and asked for a refund which we are still waiting on.

We inquired on ******** about the purchase of a mini schnauzer puppy, who we were informed was ready to go (we still have transcripts of the entire conversation). We requested that we pick the puppy up in a week in order to prepare, to which we were told that was acceptable, we would just need to pay a deposit of $300 to hold the puppy. We paid her $500, and told her we would pay the remaining balance when we received the puppy. When seeking to arrange pickup the following week, we realized that the ******** page had been deleted. At this time we sought out her information from the person who referred us, and contacted her by phone. She stated that ******** deleted her account and that we would still be able to get the puppy. She would be able to deliver the dog on Saturday, July 9th. We got a text in the middle of the night that she could not give us the puppy, and this continued with unreasonable explanations of why we could not pick the dog up. We kindly requested our money back, to which she told us that the money was nonrefundable and that she would have to rehome the dog. We never signed a contract, were never given any paperwork on the dog, and were never informed that the deposit was nonrefundable, only that it was required to hold the dog. We want our $500 back.
