I visited this doctor's office on July 21, 2022. I have no complaint against my medical care or treatment by the medical staff. My complaint is against their business office. Following my visit, I received a statement indicating that I owed a balance of $92.21 after insurance. On September 28th, I wrote check number *** and mailed it to the office. This check was not presented for payment to my bank until November 2nd and processed. Because of the long interim between Sept. 28th and Nov. 2nd, I assumed that perhaps the check was lost in the mail. I believed this to be so because I received a second statement stating that I owed $92.21. I mailed them a second check number *** on October 29th and the check was presented and processed for payment by my bank on November 14th. I need to get this business to understand that they owe me a refund of $92.21 as I visited this doctor only once. I did bring the issue to attention of their business office. They cannot seem to understand that both checks were presented and processed by *** bank. I want my refund!
