I was involved in a wreck and was not at fault, in April of 2023 and have not gotten my deductible back. Not the biggest issue but the +10 times Ive inquired about it Ive not gotten a clear answer and gotten multiple different answers.Review from Charles F

My ******** just spent entire morning placing a glass claim with GEICO. I began the ************* took over as I became stressed & livid over the ineptness of their customer service. Their online process is laughable - a true circle game aimed Im sure at fatiguing claimant until they give up & just pay out of pocket. Over & over we arrived at NO auto glass repair in the area of ******, **! A town 15 minutes from ******! We were given numbers in ********************** Hours away from ******! After several online & phone conversations we finally got a close by glass repair establishment & are in the process of, hopefully, making an appointment a MONTH out! We are absolutely disgusted with this experience & have every intention of changing our insurer.Review from Stephen G

Bait and switch! I have screen shots of my policy price and after I make one payment they triple the rates by the second payment. *************************** is the manager who was very rude and placed me on hold with no notice so she wouldnt have to listen to me explain the situation.Review from vicky w

Being a multiple years of loyal customer, I wasn't being treated what this insurance called "Customer is the priority, the assets." Sorry I didn't feel that at all even though I tried to be nice and not to fight back for my rights many years. Today, I have to really speak up for what I was being treated disrespectfully with the service by the unprofessional rep. I wish I could write down the name but it's just that "one time" missed the payment for less than a month and the rep wouldn't contact me by email or by phone but the letter to warn me if not making the payment in a certain day then my original rate will be gone!!! Why I felt threatened in the message ? Why would I being treated like that ? So many years not even one time I missed the payment ever just because my card had little issue that I was still dealing with and the rep denied completely on my request for the old rate with rude and mean attitude "NO"!! REALLY? I was so unhappy for the new rates for many years and I always maintained my traffic and driving record to the great as no one is perfect, but why the insurance premium is just getting higher and higher!!! I don't have new car but aged over 11 years car and still having the full coverage which I don't have to do it but I did because I still have the faith of this company but now??? Where is the justice and fair customer service at now ? (I don't want to give 1 star but no choice cuz of the treat received from whom that was lack of proper attitude to clients/customers.)Review from DENISE D

Stay VERY FAR away from Geico! I have been loyal to Geico for over 10 years and all of the sudden over the past year my rates for monthly have gone from $126 to now $210. When I asked why the rate increase when I am a great driver and had no accidents the only reason they could give me was that people in my state get into a lot of accidents so they have to compensate for it somehow. Such a ridiculous answer! I ended up calling Progressive and am now paying $140 per month for the exact same coverages.Review from Dawn H

Geico took 11 days to issue a payment for my auto claim and totaled my car when I wanted to fix it. Their system wouldn't recognize my credit card or credit union so would only send me a check which is another 7-10 days. During this time, they only gave me a rental car for 7 days even though we pay for a policy that says it provides a rental car for up to 30 days. Super frustrated with this formerly good company.Review from Andrew S

GEICO kept raising my rates until finally I had to find somewhere else to go. I ended up bundling my house and car at another insurance place. I started my new policy with State Farm 07-30-24. I gave GEICO notice on 07/24/30 of my cancellation.I get a letter in the mail from GEICO charging me ****** for one day of coverage which was 07-30-24.I did not need coverage from them that day because I was already covered. GEICO refused to take off the charge. Completely unprofessional. I talked to multiple agents who were all unwilling to fix the date of coverage.I was also told that part of this fee was for canceling before the end of my 6 month policy expiration. So I have a letter saying one thing, and agents online saying another. Nothing like being robbed on your way out the door.GEICO should be ashamed of themselves. I will not be back to GEICO after this treatment EVER.Review from Greg N

After YEARS of being a loyal customer ********************** will loose a customer over $35. Yes, you read it $35. I drive an older car 20+ years almost never need roadside assistance and recently needed a tow because of leaking fuel line.Granted I was in a pickle and a distance 30+ miles from the city. I was quoted by the Geico roadside assistance team $5 over what ever Geico covers which I found out is a lousy 20 miles. So I figured $60-$70 fine. It took 3 1/2 hours(imagine if it was snowing & you had kids!) for the tow truck to arrive. Driver could not even find a common park that was right off the interstate! Picks up and drops car off at mechanic and then proceeds to charge me MORE that the Geico agent quoted. Exhausted and wanting the car detached from his tow truck I allowed his company to charge me the inflated rate(at this rate is anyone willing to bicker?). I then called Geico the next day and the supervisor REFUSED to honor the rate Geico quoted me stating these are third party providers and their rates changed however this sh** company Geico FAILED to update their system. So why is the customer left hostage to this poor business model?? I asked for a credit towards my next month insurance payment. Claimed Geico could do nothing. After a decade or more as a customer and ZERO claims these corporate parasites couldn't go the extra mile for a good customer! So in the end I learned the ********************** Roadside Safety add on is a waste of money(max 20 mile coverage go to AAA as bad as they have become you can still get 100 mile tows) and the Geico mislead their customers with bogus quotes. I will be taking my business to their competition. At the end of the day CORPORATE AMERICA does NOT care about the consumer only filling their coffers with your hard earned money and s******* you when they have to hold their end of the bargain! Another reason Ive never purchased American cars...BUYER BEWARE!!Review from Majeed S

This is by far the worst insurance company on the planet. ******* wife are in the same policy together & my wife had an *******.. her vehicle got stolen & broken into multiple times and Geico put all those claims under my name because shes on my policy with me. My wife accidents or misfortune should not fall on me. Because of them doing so they raised my monthly payments by $130 & now when I want to leave & choose another insurance company theyre all saying I have a lot of claims on my driving record which makes other insurance companies charge me a high monthly rate. Geico completely screwed me over for life. My driving record is clean & because of what they did I cant find a good quote for insurance now. They expect me to pay $360 for one vehicle I was paying $255 for two cars so why would I pay $360 for one vehicle not even including my renters insurance I have with them. This is by far the worst ************************** will advise anyone whos reading this to please stay away from the crooked company. Im not done here; I will be taking legal action against them because theyre ruining people lives instead of helping them. They have no problem taking your money but want to make it very difficult when you get in an accident key word accident I mean what the h*** are we paying insurance for?! All these companies are money driven & dont give a f*** about the consumers the people that make your company thrive. If I could rate this 0 stars I would.. this is completely terrible. The worse company in the world. DO NOT FALL FOR THEYRE SCAMS!! Dont be a victim like me.
