Avoid at all costs. If I could give half a star, I probably would. Bernard installed a heat pump and ductwork for us back in summer 2022, but I wasn't aware I could write a BBB review until recently...otherwise I would have done so immediately. It was a nightmare working with him. We're still paying other contractors to fix the sloppy work he did, as we continue to find issues in our system. Bernard is a kind, personable human being who comes across as caring about his customers. But he lied to us more times than I could ever count and came up with every excuse in the book. A "3 week job" turned into 6 months. My wife, our infant son, and I were living in our old house without furniture for about 3 of those months, because we were told we could move everything into the new place while he finished installing the new system. We felt powerless for so long because he asks for half the cost up front and then made additional requests for money along the way to "purchase materials." It was our mistake and naivete that fell for this trap and it left us with absolutely no leverage or ability to hold him accountable. Bernard and his crew overcharged for the job, did really sloppy work, and took more than 6x as long as promised. We told him to stop working before he even finished the final part of the project (installing a minisplit on our top floor)...he agreed to leave the equipment with us for someone else to install it. However, it took three ADDITIONAL months to actually get the equipment. He ignored texts and phone calls. Promised he would meet me with the equipment on 4 different occasions and never did. I have a feeling he gets behind on money in job after job, so he asks new customers to pay in advance cover those jobs, only to over promise and under-deliver time and time again. I hope he begins to understand how his actions are impacting people and begins to change...but until then (and until great reviews get added to this site), avoid hiring him at all costs.

This is not a company you want to do business with. The owner is
very unreliable person with no possible business virtues. He has a mind set of "take and Run". He will take your money and run! He never provides the service he's been paid for. He has no technical skill. Sweet talks but nothing he says can be materialized. He always presses for quick cash payments... please watch out!, the owner, Bernard ************ will disappear with your money.
This is not a company I would recommend to my worst enemy! A google search on Bernard ************ does not reveal pretty things. I just whished I had done my search before giving him my money. I would not even give this company a start for its review!
