On Thursday, May 26 I went in for an appointment at this salon for specific services only of a trim and root coloring. The stylist early on during the consultation began to make me feel very pressure to go into a different direction of highlighting my hair to a much different color than I wanted which was a red flag for me that I then responded I was not interested in. The stylist colored my hair and I was unhappy with the result which I discussed with the owner of the salon later that day. He and I began working on the salon's fixing the service with another stylist. I went in to the next appointment on Tuesday, May 31 with the stylist set up to correct the initial service who was going to have me seated by the original stylist which was insulting and unthoughtful as I did not need that level of awkwardness and discomfort. I asked to speak to the stylist who was slated to provide the correction service - Shelly ***** - away from her station so I could explain that I did not wish to be seated by original stylist as this is an upsetting situation. Stylist Shelly became flustered and rude, stating "I can't make Lucy disappear." I then said I was leaving and would speak to the owner. As nice as the owner is, Alan, this is unacceptable in how the staff acts across the board. Stylists cannot pressure people nor mistreat people as Shelly ***** did in her rudeness. I would like my money back as I did not ever ask for a massive highlighting job when I created my appointment for May 26 which resulted in doubling the amount of my service costs. That is all. What I have been put through is wrong. Alan needs to discuss with his staff and manager how to treat people in all kinds of situations - not just when things are going well. Rudeness is never the answer. Listen to customers and what they want to avoid problems like this. If the customer wants that service, they will let the stylist know. I did not want what the original stylist did and would like a refund.
