Most of these complaints cite problems with booking, overcharging fees, and refund issues. Consumers also allege poor customer service on the part of the business when attempting to address these concerns.

      We purchased tickets on Icelandair for May & June 2024. The tickets were for my parents ******** & ***** ********** Their tickets we had paid a total of $300 extra to have exit row toward the front of the plane and the seats would be window and middle. On our flight on May 22, they switched the seats to be in the back of the plane in row 35. On our flight on June 8, they switched our seats to be aisle and middle seat instead of window. This company is charging multiple people for the same seat, then uses the guise of "aircraft changes" as the reason to move people from the seat they paid extra money for. The aircraft did not change from what was assigned when we pre-bought the seats. Icelandair is just taking advantage of people by charging multiple people for the same seat.

      My wife and I were on Icelandic airlines on the 29th of June 4:30 flight to Washington DC. Seat 14A and 14B Young girl behind us 15A was deathly ill and the airline should have removed her. Once we took off the parents one in 14C next to us started sneezing the entire flight. Behind us 15A, B, and C was her family all sick. My wife and I have now tested positive for COVID 19 and I'm sure anyone around us are testing positive. It is the airlines duty to protect the other passengers and they did nothing. We asked for masks and they said no. Looking to hire an attorney that will hold them liable knowing they were sick and did nothing to protect us. This Airline needs to be put out of business. We took off late due to the pilots not being able to locate the crew in the airport, your bags will be destroyed by this airline as well like my wife's luggage. Don't take this Airline
