            Forwarded message From: ***** ****** <*******@comcast.net> Date: Sun, Jul 3, 2022 at 11:08 AM Subject: Bad management To: Hello, I want to report a laundry mat in Maryland called The Cumberland Corner Laundry on 14508 McMullen Hwy SW Cumberland, Md 21502 On Friday June 24th approx 6pm my husband and I took two comforters to be washed, as soon as we entered there were two huge washers and thought that would be the perfect one to wash both comforters at once so we chose the one on the right(no number on machine) my husband started putting the quarters in but wasn't sure how much it would cost because there wasn't anything on the washer saying so, one of the men doing laundry said it was around $6, my husband continued putting the quarters in expecting for either the washer to start or something to come up on the digital space saying to put more money but nothing happened, as my husband was putting in the money I put in the detergent, at this point my husband had already dropped in $6.75 but still nothing, one of the customers said that we could call the number on the wall for assistance but nobody would probably answer-they were right, I called several times but the same answering machine answered, there were 3 or 4 customers in the laundry mat on and off within the time we were there and everyone of them said the same thing"they lost money several times but never received a call back or never received their money back, I asked why they would come back to the same laundry mat knowing they are being ripped off and they said that it was close for them, they said that I could call the "in case of flood" number if there was a flood so I though I'd call that one in hopes someone would answer but that recording came up saying"the number you called doesn't have their mailbox set up" so we wound up pulling our comforters out and putting them in two separate washers then the dryer and left, I continued to call with still no answer and no call back, I continued to call Saturday, Sunday, Monday with still no call back and up until today July 3rd I never received a call back, I have pictures of the notes, the cameras(so they could see that we really tried to get the machine to work and what machine we had)the machine itself showing no light on to tell us how much money was dropped also the men told us that the light was very dim because of the sun shining on the machine all day)I can't imaging how much money this laundry mat has literally stolen from the customers but something needs to be done to stop them from ever doing this again.             Your dryers do not dry. There are 2 large washers that haven't worked in over 2 months and when you try to call someone to make a complaint no one answers
