Estimate bid agreed******** for interior painting of home $****. Inclusive moving furniture covering furniture floors Apply coat of coverstain primer to ceilings walls closets & cleanup Painting was completed and I asked for inspection from owner because of horrible application major drips on walls, baseboards doors grit left on walls ceilings in paint orange peel effect throughout most walls ceilings Owner was very gruff with me came to inspect then sent painter to pole sand areas at which point (this painter) said to me the paint was not properly applied not strained and rollers should have been changed out. He also stated that he and another painter should have completed the job because they knew how to properly apply oil base primer and the painters that finished the job did not apply it properly He apologized to me and said it should never look and not been left like this. He was there pole sanding all day and did his best to correct the issues but it did not fix the issues and left with a huge dust problem on all floors, baseboards and now furniture (also now in vents and ruined my vacuum) I emailed called texted the owner and asked him not deposit the balance because issues were not fixed I included multiple pictures and have a huge mess of caustic dust to clean up. I texted pics 4/22 and told him sanding did not fix finally heard back from owner 5/4 with a very unpleasant demeanor telling me it was only a priming job and the only thing he would do is send someone else out to sand again. I was trying to explain what I saw He talked over me without letting me speak then hung up on me. I emailed that sanding is not working sent more pics and asked for a full refund since we cannot reach a resolution. Had this been applied properly the first time we wouldn't be having this discussion. My walls look horrible!!! I see them everyday/makes me ill to think has to be fixed I will have to pay another painter more $$$ to fix these issues. I am seeking a full refund TY
