-5 stars In the past 4 years we have bought 2 new trucks from Hertrich. Funny thing is they both had to have new engines put in them. The 1st one was do to the truck being serviced and they forgot to put oil in it and messed up the motor! They did cover the cost for that one. We traded it in on a 2020 GMC. NOW THIS TRUCK NEEDS A NEW MOTOR! This was after a service! We were told it needed plugs & wires, then lifters needed replaced. Now the motor! THIS TRUCK IS 3 YEARS OLD! & OF COURSE OUT OF WARRANTY! Their resolution...they will give us 2 free oil changes! My resolution...We will never buy anything from Hertrich GMC ever again and will pass the word along to everyone we know! Anyone that has their vehicles serviced there, a word of advice...check your oil before leaving because you may have the same expensive lesson that we've had! If it happens & you catch it, who knows you might be offered a free oil change! SMH Worst customer service ever!

Our records indicate that the first engine was found to be faulty and replaced under warranty by GM (found piston skirt to be pitted and engine to be faulty was techs notes) also noted was the vehicle was (1 quart low on oil when it came in).. not out of oil.. our records also indicate for the 2nd vehicle you visited us every 7-9k miles on average and did oil changes and tire rotations and declined all other recommended services.. 6 months or 5k miles are recommended as well as other maintenance items specifically with a 95k mile vehicle. we offered the opportunity to do the most recent repair as well and ask for General Motors assistance, that was also declined. The truck IS 3yrs old but also has 95k miles on it, therefore out of factory warranty. That is not the fault of Hertrichs.
