      I have made several attempts to contact your company to make good on a repair. The customer service was very poor. The tech person you sent out was very rude and unprofessional. My call. Was to have the gutter covers to be reattached to the gutters. I was told that the covers couldn't be attached Because I would need facia and soffit work done. As the tech was yelling at me that the job couldn't be done he threw each of the gutter covers to the lawn. He said once I get the work done he would come back to reapply the covers. Fast forward I got a new roof and soffit and facia work done. As suggested by the service provider. I call the company no answer after weeks worth of phone messages. I finally get in touch with the owner and he was almost as nasty as the tech. Once I convince the owner to acknowledge the service call. He sent someone out and the tech said he would be happy to apply them and only one of the covers was damaged. Ok fine. Please apply the undamaged gutter covers back up. And I ll agree to pay for the damaged one. Even though the previous tech threw them to the ground! 2 minutes later I get a call from the Paul the rude tech that originally the gutters to the ground. He goes on to tell me that he wants me to pay for the gutters to be put back up? What? After he took them off. I am not thrilled to keep going back and forth with this company and now I am upset that I even paid almost $2800 for this work to be done and all I asked for you all to do is reapply what you took down! I am trying to resolve this wrong before i didn't take long to pay for the service and I am upset that it's taking long to do right by your customer! Before I take this complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I cannot be bullied into paying for a service that is very simple of reapplying what your tech threw down to my lawn. I am more than happy to pay for the 1 damaged screen. But I should not be charged for what your tech put on my lawn out of his clear and apparent angr

      I spoke to the owner Rob B in regards to my gutters that his company installed for me in early 2000 with a lifetime warranty. I needed someone to come and fix my gutter guards for a leak and popped nails. Asked if I reached the right person and mentioned Gutter Covers. He replied yes and asked for my address, he searched then said he couldn't find me. Mentioned his company name again and he stated they went out of business 8 years ago and he is Bay Area and can't help me and quickly hung up. I agree with ********* review. My problem won't ever be resolved.

      I had gutter covers installed by this company on 11/16/20. The salesperson indicated that they would also install diverters because of the pitch of the roof. This was part of the signed contract. However, the installer indicated I did not need diverters, so did not install. It is now a year later, and I have had continued overflow of the gutters and contacted the company to ask for remediation and diverters. When I contacted the company re: this ongoing problem I was told that if installer felt they were not necessary, they were not necessary, despite their having been part of my contract. I have had to contact another company for diverter installation, because Bay area gutters would not get back to me on the problem.

      Hello, Re: Bay Area Gutter Covers - Response To Lois B****** - I would like to respond to Mr. B****** negative review a year after the installation had been completed on his home. Mr. B****** had Valor Gutter Guards installed on his house to keep his gutters clean.  The gutter covers did that perfectly. The deveters he is talking about are used to slow water down coming from the top of the roof. When our installer told him that the problem with diverters is that they collect trash behind them making the roof look dirty, so we do not recommend them. Mr. B******l chose at that time not to have them put on his roof and a year later, he changed his mind.  When he called, I said it was our busy season and it could take a month before we got to his house to install the diverters for free.  I sent the work order over to my service department for scheduling at that time.We are willing to pay for the diverters that Mr. B******l had installed if we are mailed and/or emailed a copy of the receipt.  Please do not ruin our 5 star rating because one customer waited 1 year to change his mind and we would have put the diverters up for free within a 1 month period of time, during our busy season.Sincerely, Rob B****, Owner Bay Area Gutter Covers 3069 Solomons Island Road Edgewater, MD 21037

      Normally, I would let this one go, but I feel that I need to comment on Mr. B****'s description of our interactions as it offends me. When I contacted the company this Fall re: a request for diverters, I had indicated to the woman who originally answered the phone that I would even be willing to pay additionally to have diverters, as a number of homes in my new community were having similar overflow problems and diverters seemed to help. If it were too late to honor the contract, I would be willing to do this. A couple of days later, l was contacted in the evening by a gentleman who indicated that he was on the road, and was busy, but that if his installer felt that diverters were unnecessary, then they weren't. ( BTW the installer did not have any conversation with me at the time about diverters collecting trash, etc. Just that they were unnecessary. At the time I believed him, and let it go). This gentleman on the phone said he would look at my contract and get back to me. This was the last I heard from the company. No one ever got back to me. All of this further description of interactions with Mr. B******* are false. My name is Lois B******* - I am a senior woman. Mr. B*******, a WWII Vet, has for many years been resting peacefully at Arlington Cemetery and I find it offensive that Mr. B**** proports to have all these interactions with him. This whole thing is a shame. I have been satisfied with the quality of both the installation and quality of the Valor Gutter Guards and the installation itself. I am appalled that Mr. B**** should pretend to have interactions with a customer that were not true in order to safeguard his reputation.
