after 2 weeks of getting the vehicle it started smoking and shaking so I took it back to him that night (my first mistake, I should have took the hint and backed out then!!). He took it to his mechanic to fix the problem never provided me with a work order (although I have requested one multiple times!) or could even tell me what was fixed on the truck but told me to bring it back in 10 days to get an oil change. About 2 weeks later (2nd issue BEFORE MAKING MY FIRST CAR PAYMENT!) the same thing Happened again but this time stalling too. I called *** and they told me to take it to GMC in which they replaced spark plugs and did an oil change. This lasted me about 2 more weeks until the shaking started again and this time it cut off and wouldnt turn over. I get it towed to GMC in which they state that theres NO OIL and the engine seized up and the warranty wont cover it and Im looking at $8700 for a new engine. And I still owe 13k on this piece of s*** thats not even worth it. Wtf? 3 MAJOR issues and only 1 car payment paid at this point. When I called to tell them what was going on I was told we dont make the cars we just sell them! Got it! So you sell lemons and you have no problem stealing peoples money for rust buckets. I want them to buy this vehicle back. Why should I be stuck with a car payment and car thats had problems since Ive had it.

      Good Morning,

We received this complaint from *********************** regarding *** *******, We are sorry to know she is having issues with her vehicle.

Since she mentioned about previous issue, i would like to comment here that first time she ****** the vehicle back we fixed the issue it was related to timing chain and while we were working on her vehicle we issued her loaner car, second time the issue was related to spark plug and it was covered under the warranty, again we issued her loaner and paid the deductible. The customer was responsible for paying warranty deductible but we took care of it.

We contacted the *** Dealer & **************** and they informed us the *** valve leaked, which caused oil drain and in result the engine was seized. According to warranty company *** valve leak is common issue for *** *******.

We are currently working with the warranty company to try fix this issue, I personally approached *********************** and assured her that we will do everything we can to fix her vehicle.

We hope this issue will be resolved soon.

      Regards

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/06/10) */ Dear Sir/madam . ********* purchased the 2009 Acura MDX on 4-8-2022, the vehicle was financed by ***************, her first payment of $351.22 was due on 5-8-2022 but Miss ********* failed to make the payment as part of agreement. The *************** allowed her 14 days time to make the payment (till 05/22/2022) and tried to contact her but ********* did not respond nor make the payment. on 5-23-2022 *************** contacted us and informed that due to failure to collect payment *************** cancelled the loan and its dealer buyback. Its dealer's responsibility to arrange vehicle repossession. After receiving the buyback letter, we contacted ********* serval time and left voice message too, but no respond from *********. Western funding cancelled the loan and withdrew the amount which they paid us via ACH. So now we are the legal owner of the vehicle. Few days ago Lisa corp came to our dealership and we explained the process and showed her the emails which was sent from *************** confirming the buyback, she did make the payment on 5-23-2022 but it was too late and western funding already cancelled the loan. We involved the Western funding management to keep ********* in 2009 Acura MDX but western funding has clear Policy when it comes to first payment default.
