On November 13th, I contacted the company and scheduled a ride for a funeral service, which was supposed to take place from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. I paid a total of $397 for a four-hour duration. In the past, when I used their services, I received all the necessary information about the driver either on the same day or the following day. However, this time, I did not receive any information. On the day of the reservation, I made several attempts to contact the number I had booked with, as well as the number provided on their Instagram page. Unfortunately, neither of them answered my calls. In total, I made 14 call attempts in order to confirm my reservation for the funeral service. Finally, at 9:24 am, I managed to get in touch with the owner. He informed me that he had just woken up and had missed calls from his driver, who had been involved in an accident while on the way to pick me up. He mentioned that he could offer a partial refund of $100 and arrange for another driver to arrive by 11:00 am. It is important to note that the booking fee was $75 per hour. Shortly after our conversation, the owner sent me a text from his personal number, stating that a driver would be in Clinton by 10:30 am and requested a cash app payment for the partial refund. He later informed me that a different driver named John would be arriving at 10:40 am and would contact me from a 202 number, which I had initially booked through. However, by the time I received the text from John at 10:10 am, the funeral had already begun, and my phone was turned off. Due to the lack of communication and reliability from the service, I had to make alternative transportation arrangements during this time. After the funeral service concluded at 11:53 am, I noticed a message from the driver at 10:39 am, stating that he had arrived and requested me to inform him one minute before I walked out so he could pull up to the front. At this point, I informed both the driver and the owner that I was canceling the service, as my family members had already found alternative transportation. I explained to the owner at 12:10 pm that I canceled the service due to timing issues and lack of communication. However, I did not receive any messages regarding a refund or any further steps to be taken. When I called the owner on November 21st, 2023, at 1:46 pm, he informed me that there was nothing he could do and that no further refund could be made, as they had already provided a partial refund of $100. It is worth mentioning that the company does not have any policies or procedures uploaded on their social media page, which is their primary platform for attracting clients. Additionally, they do not have an email address or website. This entire experience with the company has left me extremely dissatisfied due to their unprofessionalism, lack of communication, and disregard for the importance of timing and money, especially considering that the service was for a funeral, which requires strict adherence to schedules.
