We been trying to contact elkton gas to come install a gas meter i gave them all of my information and they keep telling me that ill be receiving a call but i never got a call we been trying over and over again for the last 3 months the house is getting colder do to the weather we have 3 little kids in the house and we cant wait anymoreBusiness response

Business Response /* (1000, 24, 2022/03/11) */ On March 7, 2022, an Elkton Gas customer reported that he had been trying to have gas service connected at his home. On March 7, upon receiving the customer's inquiry, the Customer Service Coordinator reviewed her account and observed the following: On October 21, 2021, the customer emailed the marketing department requesting gas service. A representative left a voicemail for the customer requesting a return call. In December 2021 on multiple occasions, the marketing department explained to the customer that the City of Elkton needed to conduct an inspection and provide an approval letter to Elkton Gas before their meter could be connected. January 12, 2022, the customer emailed Elkton Gas requesting a meter be connected. A representative reiterated the requirements. A technician then conducted a pressure test. The results confirmed there were leaks in the piping system. The technician explained to the homeowner that the piping would need to be repaired or replaced by a contractor. Once complete, a pressure test, witnessed by Elkton Gas, was required before installation of a gas meter could occur. On January 19, after the piping was replaced by the plumbing contractor, Elkton Gas verified the pressure test passed. January 20, 2022, the meter was set and the gas service connected at the customer's property.
