Advanced Solar Heating and Cooling of Maryland was paid $38,750.00 for a combined Solar Panel System for two meters and two HVAC (Electric Heat Pump) Systems. The Final Contract was signed June 07, 2021. The Solar Equipment installation on my roof was completed December 6, 2021. The final payment, for the Solar portion of the contracted work, was paid December 10, 2021. The DelMarVa Power Net Energy Metering Department Final Interconnection Approvals were issued, also referred to as the In-Service Date, April 14, 2022 for the Larger Meter ("Main") and April 15, 2022 for the Smaller Meter ("In-Law"). The nature of the dispute is the fact that included in the Final Contract was the commitment "all necessary paperwork for applicable federal, state, and local grants included." The Green Grant Energy Program of Delaware Application window was 1-year from In-Service Date: April 14, 2022 through April 14, 2023 for the Larger Meter ("Main") and April 15, 2022 through April 15, 2023 for the Smaller Meter ("In-Law"). However, due to poor time management-particularly concerning completion of an approximately 20 minute "Shade Analysis" not performed until March 29, 2023-and errors repeatedly found by Green Grant Energy Program of Delaware in paperwork submitted by Advanced Solar Heating and Cooling of Maryland beginning May 1, 2023 which they failed to satisfactorily correct, the application window has expired. September 22, 2023 at 10:18AM was the last successful communication with Advanced Solar Heating and Cooling of Maryland. As of today January 24, 2024 no communications nor activity from Advanced Solar Heating and Cooling of Maryland concerning the overdue $8,000 Green Energy Grant has been received. 10/9/2020 we filed a complaint against Advance Solar and their response was due to Covid-19 they were not able to come out to fix 2 solar panels that have a 10 - year warranty - in the meantime we are not receiving credits from SREC because they failed to provide proper paperwork with certification - we have tried contacting via office and cell phones with no response - we paid a lot of money to him and have a lot of panels
